Wildcards are a major twist for wildcard characters will be introduced in a special round to try to beat an existing performer and earn a spot on the show. This week, the show had its first wildcard and he ed Seashell in an aquatic-themed costume. Orca's costume was a shiny, blueish-hued version of the killer whale. He sang the Twisted Sister rock anthem "We're Not Gonna Take It."

One question on the Fox Bet Super 6 app this week asked which character gets the cheering on the desk tonight. That, as we know, turned out to be Orca. His rocker voice, height, and build had the judges guessing a variety of rockstars. Nicole thought of Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl, Joel McHale honed in on a pumpkin clue for Smashing Pumpkins frontman, Billy Corrigan. Meanwhile, Jenny McCarthy tied the two 13 clues to actor Kevin Bacon, who has his own band The Bacon Brothers.

The names the internet has been floating around the idea that, with this season's cast clues, it is likely to be a big name. The went with classic rockers and the internet thought it could be Happy Gilmore star Adam Sandler. The story of Orca putting audition tapes in pizza boxes led the internet to actor Rami Malek, who is known for his singing in his portrayal of Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury. But the internet sleuths dug up another celeb who used the pizza box technique, and he seems to be a better fit for Orca. Now, fans think Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath is the man beneath the Orca mask. McGrath has experience not only singing, but also on reality TV, having appeared on Celebrity Big Brother not too long ago. There seems to be debate over whether the voice fits McGrath, but the clues leave no room for dispute.

Week 3 Orca's Clues

Clues for Orca included a restaurant called Orca's Piehole. On the menu was lemon pizza for $9, orange pizza for $4, and pumpkin pizza for $9. Orca said he was 24 and closer to becoming a punchline than a big star. The screen was then pummeled with tomatoes. A clock read three and he talked about how, as time was almost up, he began putting videotapes in boxes of pizza and putting them all around town. There was a hawk and what looked like a bowl of candy, as well as the address of the shop at 13 13 Melleville Ct.  He said the special was extra large and extra anchovies. His self-portrait clue showed Orca surfing with an airplane in the sky. He said he's a killer and the biggest fish in every sea. He gets the biggest wave because no one snakes the Orca.

In addition to the huge pizza box/videotape clue, there are plenty of others that point to McGrath. The pumpkin pizza led the judges to the band Smashing Pumpkins, which is correct, it's just not hinting at a member of the band. McGrath actually appeared in a Smashing Pumpkins video. The lemon pizza points to the Sugar Ray debut album, Lemonade and Brownies. The orange pizza is likely a nod to Orange County, California where the singer grew up. The pizza prices were 949, which is the area code for Orange County.

A fun clue many missed was the hawk in the clue package representing actor Ethan Hawke. The two celebrities are so often confused for each other that they sign each other's names for autographs in an ongoing joke. There was a bowl of candy shown, and McGrath did a famous ad for Candie's brand that was so risque it got banned. The plane was for their song "Fly." The 13th letter of the alphabet is M and M.M. are his initials, which explains the 1313 address. It seems there is no doubt that Orca is singer Mark McGrath.
