The accomplished finalists of this hit competition series will battle for the win by making a four-course meal for the first time in amateur cook will finally be crowned MasterChef.

This season of MasterChef: Legends has been tough. Only 15 home cooks received a white apron and a chance to impress iconic culinary judges. Emeril Lagasse, Paula Deen, Masaharu Morimoto, Michael Mina, and Roy Choi have all made appearances on the season to give their expert culinary advice to the home cooks. The show's creators called this season the "most intense season in MasterChef history," and finalists Autumn Moretti, Suu Khin, and Kelsey Murphy will have to overcome the ultimate challenge before one can take home $250,000. They brought the heat, but who will stay in the kitchen and take home the MasterChef title?

In the first hour of the two-part finale hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, Michelin star chef Curtis Stone from Crime Scene Kitchen returns to the competition and serves as the guest judge. He will be judging appetizers in the semifinals as the cooks compete for a spot in the finale. Award-winning chef Michael Cimarusti will be the final judge to the competition. The two remaining finalists have one last chance to impress the judges with their entrees and dessert dishes. In the exclusive clip below, the judges explain how difficult the task will be for the finalists to overcome. The competition is not only a test of culinary skills but a test of time. The amateur chefs will have 30 minutes to prepare their dish, and seeing as it is the season finale, there is no room for error.

In the clip, the finalists show the judges their ornate appetizers, and everyone brings something different and unique to the table. The eliminated MasterChef contestants of the season return to the show to cheer on the finalists. Cohost and chef Aaron Sanchez gives Kelsey from Indianapolis advice on her steak dish. "If I were you, I would be tasting and make sure that the salt level is where you needed to be, okay," said Aaron. Kelsey has placed near the bottom only one time in the competition, so her track record is decent. Her calm demeanor in the kitchen and flavorful dishes make her a strong contender to win.

Chef Curtis Stone and Gordon Ramsay are excited about Suu from Houston's stuffed pastry curry dish. Suu is calling her menu "bold," "bombastic," and "flavorful." Suu creating a subtle dish is smart and puts her in a good position to make it to the top two in the popular cooking competition show. Lastly, Autumn from Boston will be sticking with a Japanese theme for her menu. She stumbled in the Team Challenge as a leader but has been consistent throughout the season. Her dishes typically do well, and fans will have to watch how she can pull off her final dish.

The competition has been an eventful one. This season has brought many twists and surprises, so it's hard to determine who will win the title on MasterChef: Legends. Be sure to tune in to the season finale on Wednesday, September 15, at 8 p.m. ET on Fox to determine who will be the winner.
