What This Means For Mayor Of Kingstown Season 4

Season 3 Turned Into A Bloodbath For The Cast

Mayor of Kingstown is not shy about killing off characters, as was demonstrated when Kyle Chandler’s Mitch McLusky died in the very first episode. Season 2 saw another significant McLusky family death as Mike’s mother Mariam (Dianne Weist) was incidentally shot by her own son, Mike’s brother Kyle (Taylor Handley). Villain Milo (Aiden Gillen) also seemed to exit the show in a boat explosion, but season 3 revealed that he was still alive.

Clayton Cardenas was previously announced as a new Mayor of Kingstown cast addition, playing Deputy Warden Torres.

But all that was just a preview of the carnage to come, as Mayor of Kingstown season 3's ending saw the deaths piling up. First warden Kareem Moore (Michael Beach) committed suicide by allowing inmates to kill him, a death that barely had time to before Milo died for real this time, finally being shot and killed by Mike. Iris, before dying from a drug overdose, also killed Konstantin on the orders of Milo, essentially ending the Russians’ reign of terror in Kingstown.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Mayor of Kingstown producer Sheridan then pulled one last death out of his sleeve, as the tortured Iris took pills and ed away on the bus that was supposed to take her away from Kingstown forever.

Our Take On Mayor Of Kingstown Season 4’s New Cast Additions

Some Heavy-Hitting Actors Will Renner

Edie Falco as Carmela Soprano in The Sopranos on HBO

Mayor of Kingstown season 3 bloodily wrapped up a lot of storylines, leaving things wide open for new character arcs to emerge. The most intriguing character addition might be Falco's Nina Hobbs, who takes Kareem’s place as Anchor Bay’s warden. Falco is a celebrated TV actor, thanks to her Emmy-winning performances as Carmela on The Sopranos, and as the title character on Nurse Jackie, and she and Renner are bound to set off some acting fireworks, as Mike inevitably butts heads with the new warden.

With Milo and Konstantin now out of the picture, Mike will also need a new villain to deal with. The description of James’ character, Frank Moses, suggests that he could step into the Russian villains' shoes. It’s not a given, however, that “respected gangster” Moses will turn out to be an antagonist. Rounding out the new additions is Benanti, a celebrated stage actor who’s been doing more-and-more TV and movie work. With those three talented stars ing the cast, along with the returning Renner, Mayor of Kingstown season 4 is giving viewers plenty to look forward to when it returns to Paramount+ later in 2025.
