Ever since his introduction into the MCU, Spidey has swung his way into our hearts, making fans feel for him when he's at his lowest. However, that's not to say Spider-Man's completely innocent and a few of his actions have angered fans. Here are five times we felt bad for Spider-Man and five times we hated him.

Sometimes, it's hard for fans to forget that at the end of the day, Peter is a teenager balancing a normal life with the life of a super-hero. Throughout all of his MCU appearances, Spidey goes through many normal life issues, with one such example being what happened with Brad.

At a rest stop on his school trip, Peter's picture is taken by Brad in a... revealing situation. With Brad threatening to show the picture to MJ, one can't help but feel bad for the web-slinger amidst this embarrassing moment.

Hated: Stood Up Liz

Spider-Man is a hero, there's no doubt about that. From battling Thanos to taking on street villains, Peter is always ready to protect his neighborhood and beyond. However, sometimes Spidey lets the superheroes mingle with his normal life, causing friction.

In a low-level villain, Peter stands up Liz, ultimately for the betterment of the city but it still shows as a backhanded move.

Felt Bad: Suit Taken Away By Tony

Being The Next Iron Man

During his MCU run, Spider-man has had a father figure in the form of Tony Stark instead of Uncle Ben. Taking Peter under his wing, Tony has mentored and taught Peter in his own way, with Peter taking or leaving his advice.

When Tony finds out that Peter went against his advice in one instance and nearly got people killed, he becomes so angry that he takes Peter's suit away. It's a moment that hurts fans', watching their favorite web-slinger chastised by the person he sees as a father figure.

Hated: Walked Out On MJ

Walked Out On MJ

Peter Parker has the worst track record when itFar From Home.

Yet, when Peter is finally given the opportunity to connect with MJ, he leaves her behind at an opera house, even putting her in danger when she goes in search of him. It's this that makes fans dislike Peter to some extent.

Felt Bad: Being The Next Iron Man

When Spider-Man was integrated into the MCU, there was a strong signal that he would eventually become the younger version of Iron Man. In the fallout of Endgame, this possibility seemed more likely, and yet, Peter was so apprehensive about filling Tony's shoes.

The uncertainty of being able to fill Tony's shoes plagued Peter throughout most of Far From Home, resulting in an emotional scene between him and Happy Hogan that  makes even the toughest of fans tear up and want to just give Peter a hug.

Hated: Every time He Ignored Aunt May

Every time He Ignored Aunt May

While there has yet to be a mention of Uncle Ben in the MCU, fans have seen multiple times the wonderful Aunt May. In Homecoming, Aunt May tries to understand Peter while he keeps his superhero escapades a secret from her.

Seeing May care and just want to understand Peter is something fans seem to understand more than Peter, who repeatedly ignores and pushes May aside in place of being a hero. In some ways, May finding out Peter was Spider-Man was the best thing to happen.

Felt Bad: Buried Alive

Buried Alive

From being dusted, to hit by a train, Spider-Man has been through a lot of both emotional and physical pain, although none as scarring as being buried alive. In the climax of Homecoming, the nefarious Vulture buries Peter alive and leaves him for dead.

Watching one of their favorite heroes reduced to screaming for help, crying, and struggling beneath the rubble is enough to make any grown man shed a tear. Thankfully, Peter is able to gather himself and lift the rubble in a scene ripped straight from the comics.

Hated: Ditched Ned

Ditched Ned

If Spider-manHomecoming has done one thing that fans appreciate more than anything, it's the introduction of Peter's friend Ned Leeds. Serving as both a funny character and Peter's "Guy in the chair," Ned quickly became just as popular as Peter.

As such, it's why fans get angry at Peter for ditching Ned when all he wants to do is help his friend. Granted, the situations are typically dangerous but Peter can always rely on his friend for help. All he needed to do was let him.

Felt Bad: Identity Revealed By Mysterio

Spider-Man Far From Home Identity Reveal

It goes without saying that Spider-man is one of the unluckiest heroes of all time. It's the reason why Stan Lee created him, to give readers someone who felt so much like them and make them relate even more with him.

No scene makes any fan or audience member feel for Spidey like when Mysterio reveals his identity to the world at the end of Far From Home. Fans were left feeling for Peter in ways they never had before, by a method never before seen on screen.

Hated: Putting Heroics Ahead Of His Personal Life

Putting Heroics Ahead Of His Personal Life

Now, what makes Spider-man so interesting is that he does act like a kid and does end up living his life the way he should. He makes changes along the way, but for the most part, Peter Parker can still be Peter Parker.

However, in the MCU, it feels like every other second, Peter is making one sacrifice after another instead of actually living his life. It's a move that reflects on aspects of the comics and previous films, yet still annoys fans to the point of disliking Spider-Man.
