who was his mysterious buyerAnt-Man and the Wasp didn't clear it up, and fans have been wondering ever since if the MCU intends to revisit that dangling story thread.

While answering a flurry of Ant-Man related questions on who Falcon (Anthony Mackie) was talking to in the first film), Reed was asked about the possibility of Goggins returning to the MCU. Reed didn't explicitly say he'll be back, but he did say "There's always a chance."

Having Goggins re the MCU wouldn't come as much of a surprise for a few reasons. Aside from that leftover plot thread from Ant-Man and the Wasp, it's no secret that actors typically sign on for multiple films when they even one Marvel movie. Goggins' fellow Ant-Man and the Wasp star Avengers: Endgame and the many cameos it was able to provide, even in the case of characters who had died.

Until Ant-Man 3's story comes into focus, it remains unclear if Goggins ever will return to the mega-franchise. Of course, there is also a chance he could appear in something other than Ant-Man 3, though that is the project that would make the most sense for him. For now, fans will just have to wait to see if this Ant-Man and the Wasp villain will show his face again.
