Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Daredevil: Born Again episode 9

Daredevil: Born Again season 2, and he won't be alone.

At the end of Daredevil: Born Again episode 9, Daredevil is shown standing with a small group of allies, the beginnings of the "army" he said needed to be built earlier in the episode. This includes Karen Page, Josie, Cherry, Detective Kim, and what looks to be a handful of cops refusing to bend to Fisk's new regime. However, it's more than likely that Daredevil will eventually be ed by more New York vigilantes being targeted under Fisk's new initiatives. With that in mind, here's every potential MCU hero who could "Daredevil's Army" in Daredevil: Born Again season 2.

12 Spider-Man

The Only Avenger in New York

One of the biggest vigilantes who should absolutely Daredevil's fight against Fisk is Spider-Man. The Wallcrawler is one of the only Avengers operating in New York in the current MCU (Doctor Strange is presumably still in the Dark Dimension). Additionally, Peter Parker and Matt Murdock also have a history, one Daredevil may or may not following the events of No Way Home.

Regardless, Peter still re his and Matt's history and would likely be inclined to help when and if he learns who Daredevil really is. Likewise, we know Spider-Man is certainly in danger from the AVTF just as much as any other New York-based vigilante. After all, Spider-Man was publicly called out by Mayor Fisk alongside Daredevil and Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again episode 2.

11 Ms. Marvel

Matt Murdock Recently Met Kamala's Father

Ms. Marvel isn't very far away from New York, as Kamala Khan protects the people of New Jersey. Likewise, Daredevil now knows about Ms. Marvel thanks to her father, Yusef Khan, who briefly teamed up with Matt Murdock during Daredevil: Born Again episode 5's bank heist. As such, it'd be pretty cool to see Ms. Marvel lending along, potentially alongside any other heroes she's already managed to recruit since 2023's The Marvels.

10 Jessica Jones

A P.I. With Superstrength

Many are hoping that Daredevil will eventually make a call to his fellow Defenders. This includes Jessica Jones, the private detective with enhanced strength and abilities. Seeing how all New York vigilantes are in danger, it would be very exciting to see Jessica showing up and lending a hand. It'd also be a great way for MCU fans to catch up and learn what she's been up to since the events of Jessica Jones season 3.

9 Luke Cage

The Hero of Harlem

The Hero of Harlem, one could imagine Luke Cage wouldn't hesitate if asked to Daredevil against Wilson Fisk to take back New York. That said, he was last seen taking control of the jazz club Harlem's Paradise, teasing a darker turn where Luke may have tried controlling organized crime to keep people safe. Regardless, there is some cool potential for Luke Cage's MCU return, especially because Luke Cage became New York's mayor after Fisk in the comics.

8 Danny Rand

The Former Iron Fist

Lastly, it would be very cool to see Danny Rand return to get the entire Defenders band back together. Although Danny no longer has the power of the Iron Fist following the end of Iron Fist season 2, he does have a pair of chi-infused pistols. Likewise, Danny's New York company Rand Enterprises could help finance and provide resources to Daredevil's Army.

7 Colleen Wing

The Current Iron Fist

Colleen Wing is presumably still the MCU's current Iron Fist, having inherited the power after the defeat of Davos at the end of Iron Fist season 2. As such, it would be very exciting to see Colleen Daredevil, as well as her fellow Daughter of the Dragon.

6 Misty Knight

Former Detective With A Bionic Arm

The other half of the Daughters of the Dragon, Misty Knight is a Harlem police detective who was considering leaving the force and going private following her appearance in Iron Fist season 2. Fitted with a bionic arm from Rand Enterprises after she lost her original arm during The Defenders, Misty Knight could prove to be a real asset both in combat, and potentially working on the inside with various police s.

5 Kate Bishop's Hawkeye

Clint Barton Protégé

Kate Bishop's Hawkeye is another New York vigilante in the MCU, having become the protégé of Clint Barton in 2021's Hawkeye series. While she may be working with Ms. Marvel to form some kind of Young Avengers or Champions team, one could easily see her ing Daredevil to fight Kingpin, the man her mother once worked for, and who Kate herself once fought at the end of the 2021 MCU series.

4 Echo

Mayor Fisk's "Niece"

Maya Lopez' Echo would likely Daredevil to fight Mayor Fisk as well. After all, Fisk was responsible for the death of her father despite having been her surrogate "uncle" as a child. As seen during the ending of 2024's Echo, Maya attempted to cure Fisk of his own past darkness and trauma, only for Fisk to refuse her help and flee back to New York to then run for mayor. To that end, it's not hard to imagine Echo returning to New York to offer some assistance against Fisk in Daredevil: Born Again season 2.

3 Swordsman

Currently Captured by the AVTF

Having first appeared in 2021's Hawkeye as the fiancé of Kate Bishop's mother, Daredevil: Born Again has confirmed that Jack Duquesne later became a new MCU vigilante known as Swordsman. However, Mayor Fisk discovered this and had his AVTF officers arrest and lock Jack away by the series' finale. That said, perhaps Jack will be freed by Frank Castle, who was seen making his escape from Fisk's Red Hook facility in Daredevil: Born Again's post-credits scene, setting up Punisher's Special Presentation.
