Upon the release of the last MCU film of the year, many fans are rewatching their favorite pieces from Marvel Studios and some Redditors have noticed many quotes that are particularly hilarious without any context.
"Why Don't We Just Find Baby Thanos, You Know, And..."
James Rhodes
As Redditor _sentencefragments_ said, James Rhodes has multiple quotes that sound hilarious out of context, but '"Why don't we just find baby Thanos, you know, and..." with hand gesture' beats them all.
When discussing with the rest of the Avengers possible solutions to the blip using time travel, Rhodes said this funny line that suggests traveling to the past to kill Thanos as a baby. If a non-MCU fan heard the quote without knowing who Thanos is, they would probably become puzzled- or extremely worried - which is hilarious to imagine.
"I'm Asking For Safe age Through The Anus."
Loki
This is one of the quotes that perfectly sum up Loki as a character, and Redditor Agnostic_Pagan recalled, "I'm asking for safe age through the Anus" as one of the phrases that sound hilarious out of context, although with the context, it's pretty funny too.
Thor: Ragnarok's director Taika Waititi obviously named the Magnetar wormhole the "Devil's Anus" to make every dialogue referring to it awkward and hilarious. Nonetheless, Loki's distinctive manners and the odd request make the quote even funnier to imagine it being heard by someone who has no context.
"It's Like A Pirate Had A Baby With An Angel."
Drax
Redditor perfectly sums up Drax as a character, considering it shows how hilarious and random he can be.
In the quote, Drax describes Thor (who had just been found by the Guardians of the Galaxy). Indeed, Thor looked like a pirate because he was wearing an eye patch, but also like an angel. After all, nobody can deny Chris Hemsworth's holy looks. Needless to say, the quote is hilariously confusing out of context.
"Which Master Do I Serve? What Am I Supposed To Say? Jesus?"

Christian620 mentioned this quote, and several other Redditors agreed. The quote was said by Peter Quill in Avengers: Infinity War as a response to Doctor Strange's question, "Which master do you serve?"
"Master" is definitely not a frequently used term to refer to Jesus. Consequently, the quote sounds odd without knowing Doctor Strange asked about Peter's master when they encountered each other in the middle of the galaxy.
"I Don't Know What You've Got Inside You Already. The Mixture Could Be...An Abomination."

Of course, for fans, it is obvious that Sterns is talking about the effects of the Super Soldier Serum that provoked the most powerful Abomination variants, but for people that don't know where this line comes from, the random imagery triggered by this phrase must be hilarious and somewhat insulting.

Redditor funniest quotes from phase three movies, and it is said by Peter Parker when he first encounters Mantis of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
With this quote, Parker proved that he had seen Ridley Scott's Alien too many times, among other sci-fi movies where humans become the body hosts of baby aliens. However, if the same line was heard somewhere else where the aliens of Guardians of the Galaxy are not anywhere to be found, it hits differently.

Groot's iconic line could only make sense out of context in a literary piece, like a poem - where "Groot" could be used as a metaphor. Nevertheless, it is still a weird thing to say anywhere outside of the MCU, though it's been popularized to a degree that most people would now recognize the reference.

Redditor Iron Man. With context or without context, this line is undeniably hilarious and is perfectly in line with Tony's early characterization before he comes a bit down to Earth.
The implication is fairly clear given his behavior early in the movie, and these character-perfect quips are part of why the first Iron Man movie has remained as popular as it has almost 15 years after release.
