Charlie Cox playing Daredevil, it seems that the series is willing to cross over with the larger universe, even if it is set in a different timeline. One actor from the series would be the perfect choice to bring to the main universe, and I hope that it happens soon.
Some of the best Marvel animated series have featured memorable performances. The voice cast for X-Men: The Animated Series are still considered as having brought out some of the most definitive versions of the characters ever seen on screen. However, due to different skillsets, most voice actors remain in that medium and do not cross over into live-action. With this recent Marvel casting, however, one of the best live-action stars of today has provided his voice to an iconic role, and I really need to see him cross over into live-action.
Colman Domingo's Marvel Debut Demonstrates His Mainline MCU Potential
The Actor Plays Norman Osborn In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
Despite having previously been one of the Oscar-nominated choices for Kang, Colman Domingo recently entered the Marvel series with the voice role of playing Norman Osborn in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. The actor brings so much to the role, where his character essentially takes on the Iron Man role as mentor to Peter Parker. Domingo acts with humor, heart, and charisma, creating the perfect model for what some of the best Marvel Universe characters have already followed in the larger universe.
Seeing Domingo in this series only helps to show what a great choice he would be to play a role in the live-action MCU. His Norman shines every moment he's onscreen, and the dramatic potential of his eventual turn into the Green Goblin hangs over each of these moments. He has injected a famous villain with a level of creative heart that stands up against some of the best Spider-Man villains in the MCU. I can't help but think he needs to cross over into live-action somehow, at some point.
Colman Domingo's Acting History Reinforces That He Could Be Even Better For The Main MCU
The Actor Would Be Perfect In A Live-Action MCU Role
In the cast of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, among performers both known for voice work and live-action roles, Colman Domingo stands out. He is currently nominated for an Academy Award for his work in Sing Sing, and has slowly built up an incredible body of work throughout the past several years. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for his role in Euphoria, and is currently on the rise, with notable roles in Stephen Spielberg's next film as well as in the Michael Jackson biopic.
Simply, Domingo is one of the best actors working today. With charm and charisma that match the actor's ability to embody menace, Domingo is a strong performer who could work as a villain or a hero. This is why he is so perfect for this iteration of Norman Osborn, but it also points to how good he would be in a larger role in the main universe. His ability to work within an ensemble, and his excellent skill in embodying characters, could make the actor a perfect fit among the new Avengers or the threats they face.
I'm Convinced Colman Domingo Would Be Perfect For Several Future MCU Roles
The Actor Has Great Potential For All Kinds Of Marvel Roles
Colman Domingo recently spoke about important Avengers: Secret Wars character like the Beyonder, or could even play a menacing foe like Magneto in the X-Men reboot.
Among all the Marvel heroes and villains, however, I'd like to see Domingo play Norman Osborn in live-action in Spider-Man 4. The story potential for a new Green Goblin in an Spider-Man film could be incredible, and Domingo has already proven to be compelling as Norman in the animated show. His iteration is clearly different from anything that has come before, and Tom Holland's Spider-Man desperately needs to meet his greatest foe, even if they would have to retcon some dialogue from Spider-Man: No Way Home that said he didn't exist in that universe.

2025’s New Version Of A Classic Spider-Man Villain Delivers The m Holland's Trilogy Set-Up But Failed To Deliver
2025's new take on a classic Spider-Man villain gives them a power upgrade the Marvel Cinematic Universe first set up almost 10 years ago.
Colman Domingo is great, and I'm so glad that he's in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, even if the show has made me even hungrier to see him in a bigger role. The MCU always needs more great performers, and Domingo is one of the best working today. I'd like to see him take on virtually any character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although I'm also desperately hoping to see Norman Osborn enter the MCU sooner than later. Thanks to Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, I now know exactly how I want that Norman to look.
