Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is expected to return for a new adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and now that his life took a drastic turn following the events of Captain America: Civil War. After years of speculation about when Spider-Man would be introduced to the MCU, a deal between Marvel and Sony allowed the web-slinger to become part of this connected universe, and he has since become a key element in the MCU.

After fighting against Spider-Man: Far From Home, and his third adventure, Spider-Man: No Way Home, will be key in the chaos in the Multiverse Saga. However, all of Spider-Man’s solo movies have followed one annoying trend, and Spider-Man 4 is the perfect chance to break it.

Spider-Man Shouldn’t Rely On Other MCU Heroes In Spider-Man 4

Spider-Man Iron Man

Although the MCU’s Spider-Man has won the audience over and thanks to No Way Home he’s now a key player in the Multiverse Saga, Spider-Man’s development has been held back by the presence of other heroes that have served as mentors to the young web-slinger. Spider-Man was found and recruited by Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War, which felt right as his introduction was quite smooth, but the MCU clung to Tony being Peter’s mentor, which ultimately hurt Spider-Man’s development. Tony Stark was present in Spider-Man: Homecoming and kept an eye on him, and this continued in Spider-Man: Far From Home even though Tony was already dead.

Nick Fury – or more like the end of No Way Home. This would finally allow Spider-Man to grow as a hero and person, helping him find his own path in the ever-expanding MCU.

The biggest question about Spider-Man 4 is not so much who will Peter Parker in this new adventure or if he will be able to make his loved ones him, but when the movie will happen. Spider-Man 4 is one of the biggest titles missing from the official Phase 5 slate and what has been revealed about Phase 6, and there haven’t been updates about the status of the movie. While Peter Parker is expected to show up in the end of the Multiverse Saga or if it will be part of the MCU’s next era.
