Of these noteworthy couples, there are certain moments that stick out as essential and defining for each of them. While every main couple has a list of important scenes from their timeline, things can be narrowed down even further to one iconic moment.

Peter Quill And Gamora: That “Unspoken Thing”

Peter, Gamora, Rocket, and Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Gamora are a couple that might not make the most sense personality-wise, but even they themselves recognize that there is something between them that just can’t quite be explained.

At one point early on in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Star-Lord even explicitly references this "unspoken thing," but Gamora is rather resistant to the idea. Therefore, when she repeats these words to him at the end of the movie, it’s one of the most romantic moments between them.

Carol Danvers And Maria Rambeau: Co-Parenting Monica

While Carol and Maria aren’t a confirmed romantic couple, they are one of the best potential options for an LGBTQ+ relationship in the MCU. It would be easy to make their relationship romantic without changing anything about their story as they already basically work together to take care of Maria’s daughter, Monica. While their singing together at karaoke is also rather memorable, their bond as best friends in the daily difficulties of life is irable.

Scott Lang And Hope Van Dyne: Working Together As Ant-Man And The Wasp

Scott Lang and Hope in Ant-Man and the Wasp

Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne are another odd couple romance in the MCU because Scott is rather goofy and at times a bit incompetent while Hope is a professional who has her act together. Yet, despite their differences, they provide a log of balance to one another.

They clearly make a great team, and this is very obvious throughout most of Ant-Man & The Wasp. Fans loved seeing these two finally working together as heroes and giving Wasp the more central role she deserved. While it might not just be one individual scene, fans do associate them as being a dynamic duo.

Thor And Jane: Thor Bragging About Jane At The Avengers Party

Wanda And Vision: “I Just Feel You.”

Wanda and Vision aren’t given all that many scenes in the movies, but they did get more exploration in Avengers: Infinity War.

It’s a really sad moment, but Vision reassures her that she’s doing the right thing. This moment underscores the tragic element of their relationship and the grief Wanda feels in the opening of WandaVision.

Peter Parker And MJ: Peter Flying Her Around NYC

MJ and Spider-Man go for a swing.

Peter Parker and MJ in the MCU have really only existed in one movie so far, so there is still a lot to include between the two of them. Fans will have to wait and see how their relationship unfolds, but, for now, they can enjoy the moment when Peter takes MJ through a short "swing" in midtown Manhattan.

This ties back to many iconic Spider-Man and MJ scenes in past superhero films as well as the comics themselves, so fans really take to moments like these that are central to such a beloved character and relationship.

T’Challa And Nakia: Their Kiss At The End Of The Movie

This is a great moment because it’s not actually their first kiss. It’s established well in the films that these two have been together before, but their life goals have put them at odds with one another. However, in the end, they discuss a compromise to make their relationship work again and seal it with a kiss.

Steve Rogers And Peggy Carter: Saving Their Last Dance

Steve sees Peggy in his vision

Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter have a rather complicated relationship, and fans were a bit surprised when they got together given Steve’s brief romance with Sharon Carter. However, they are still one of the most popular pairings from the franchise.

Their final moment is really a connection of scenes all about sharing a dance with one another. This is something they promise, but it doesn’t come to because Steve goes under the ice. Then, Peggy is in her old age when Steve comes back. So, when they get their dance at the end of Avengers: Endgame, everything comes full circle.

Steve Rogers And Bucky Barnes: Steve Refusing To Fight Bucky

These two have a lot of memorable moments to choose from, but what really defines their bond is when Steve drops his shield and won’t fight Bucky at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. This shows that this decades-old friendship is more important to Steve than his own life.

Tony Stark And Pepper Potts: Arguing At The Race Track

Tony and Pepper don’t always get along, and, in a way, it’s a good thing. Pepper challenges Tony at times when he needs it, and he does have to improve himself to be a better partner. However, there is also something a bit hilarious and charming about their arguments.

So, while they do have a few more romantic arguments, when they argue when Tony drives the race car in Iron Man 2, that's the main moment that's hard to forget. It’s rather representative of their entire relationship too, as Pepper is often having to deal with Tony’s reckless impulses and try to set things right.
