Rap superstar Megan Thee Stallion shows off her from the manga/anime Kakegurui (aka. Compulsive Gambler). In a social media caption, the “Hot Girl Summer” singer called herself “Yumeko Thee Stallion” in reference to the series’ protagonist Yumeko Jabami.
Taking to Twitter, Megan Thee Stallion has now teased fans with her incredibly detailed Hello Kitty nails. The colorful pastel designs are complimented with cute illustrations of the iconic cat head, bows, and doughnuts. On closer inspection, the famous Coco Chanel logo elevates the set to high-fashion status. This isn’t Megan’s first Hello Kitty reference. In the song “Cocky AF,” she cheekily raps, “talk to my kitty like ‘hello.’”
Hello Kitty fans will no doubt be envious of Megan’s colorful nail set. However, even more, exciting things are coming for the animated character. Hello Kitty will be branching out with a live-action/animated hybrid film soon, to be distributed by New Line Cinema. The ubiquitous character also partnered with Team USA for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, releasing a limited-edition collection.
