In of story details, it will seemingly be a vampire period piece, possibly taking place during the late 19th to early 20th century. It's also been reported the film will be inspired by anime to some extent, offering the first clue as to what the movie could be like.

Given how Coogler's movies with Jordan have been critically praised, it seems this latest project will have just as much potential for success as their previous outings together.
