The Vibranium suit was introduced last year during the webslinger’s team-up with Black Panther, and it’s not just a bold fashion choice with its midnight purple and red colors, the Wakandan material is helping Miles stay safe during his action-packed Deadpool crossover.

Marvel’s preview for Deadpool #12–written by Cody Ziglar, with art by Andrea Di Vito–catches up with Miles and the two Deadpools in the third part of their four-part crossover. While Wade Wilson is away trying to sell out Miles’ clone brother, Spider-Man fights Deadpool’s two daughters, including a massive animalistic monster spawned from Carnage, named Princess.

As Princess tries to chew Miles open, Spider-Man’s Vibranium suit protects him from the Carnage spawn’s sharp teeth. With Miles’ suit being the only thing protecting him from certain death or at least a grave injury, this suit is a total lifesaver.

Miles may have plenty of extraordinary abilities, but his suit is increasing his level of power in amazing new ways that other Spider-Verse heroes can’t compete with. The Vibranium suit was a gift from Black Panther, as the legendary Wakandan material helped Miles control his desire for blood while he was a vampire after the events of Blood Hunt. However, with Vibranium’s almost indestructible nature, it’s still a powerful suit for the hero after he’s reverted to his human self, as its strength will help Miles take on a myriad of threats moving forward with a new sense of invulnerability.

While other comic book armor has been revered for being bulletproof, Miles’ Vibranium suit takes it a step further. Since it’s not even budging under pressure from the jaws of a giant carnivorous creature with Carnage-like powers, the costume’s Vibranium exterior is already doing its job better than most armored superhero suits. It’s hard to imagine what could actually break through it, other than something like Adamantium. The suit’s enhancements don’t stop at the Vibranium mesh that protects Miles; it also has powerful Vibranium web-shooters, and helps Miles retain his venom charge for longer, increasing the damage he can do.

Miles' History Has Proved It’s A Power He Could Seriously Use

With Vibranium enhancing his best costume yet, Miles' suit from Black Panther has transformed him into an almost invulnerable Spider-Man, a much-needed upgrade considering his unfortunate history. As mentioned earlier, he spent several months as a vampire after being bitten during last summer's Blood Hunt event, and he was also taken over by a Dark Carnage symbiote during the terrifying Absolute Carnage storyline. His new suit's effectiveness was demonstrated in his fight with Princess in Deadpool #12, where it proved capable of protecting him from both sharp vampire fangs and Carnage's "killer red-alien goo," ensuring his safety in this new chapter of his life.

As Spider-Man’s tie-in with Deadpool continues, it seems Miles won’t be the one spilling the "Pools of Blood" that the crossover’s title promises. Although the Deadpools featured will undoubtedly prove to be formidable opponents, Miles’ suit will keep him relatively unscathed. However, Miles’ clone brother Shift has already been shot and injured during the event, so even though Miles is safe in his fancy costume, he still has to work hard to protect his loved ones. Still, the power of Vibranium may have created one of the best Spider-Man suits ever, protecting Miles Morales’ while he focuses on saving everyone else.
