Strongholds in Minecraft host End Portals, rare structures that help you reach a realm where the final boss of the game resides. Some of the best world seeds help generate a sandbox that puts you close to an End Portal, with some even having the structure nearly completed. Using a seed to put you near one of these Portals saves a lot of time normally used to find a Stronghold.

Anyone looking for the best Minecraft speedrun seeds will inevitably want a world that puts them close to a Stronghold. You need 12 Eyes of Ender items to complete an End Portal, but you have to use Blaze Rods and Ender Pearls to make these objects. The Rods are found by defeating Blaze enemies in the Nether, while Ender Pearls are infrequently given when you kill an Enderman mob.

Eyes of Ender can also be thrown to float in the air toward the direction of a Stronghold's Ender Portal. Digging down from where an Eye of Ender rests can be a great way to find the Portal.

8 Best Minecraft Ancient City Seeds

Ancient cities are fun subterranean structures to explore in Minecraft's deep dark caves. There are some seeds with a few perfect ancient cities.

8 Secrets Of The Meadow Village

Seed: 7424149973931845580

Minecraft Village house inside Dripstone cave for Secret of the Meadow Village early End Portal seed

One of the most difficult parts about finding a Stronghold's End Portal is trying to figure out where the Stronghold is in the first place. Caves can sometimes be easy to miss, but Strongholds are so deep underground that it is almost impossible to know where they are. This seed helps relieve this problem by spawning you right next to a massive ravine that clearly shows part of a Stronghold sticking out from nearby ledges.

This seed also can be considered one of the best seed for Villages in Minecraft, as it places you directly in a moderately sized Meadow biome within a large settlement. The resources you can grab immediately from the Villager mobs in this area will help you get started to craft a Nether Portal to get Blaze Rods needed to finish the End Portal. Search for chests and trade Emeralds with local Villagers to build up a strong collection of supplies early.

The Stronghold itself is within the Dripstone Cave biome next to the Village, directly right of the house from the civilization that mysteriously spawned underground. You only need to dig a few blocks to expose the structure, which you can start exploring to find an End Portal. Those who set up their base in the Village can create a path that allows them easy access to the Portal at the earliest stages of their adventure.

7 Exposed Ravine Stronghold

Seed: -5130068645031981276

Visible Strongholds make finding an Early End Portal easy since you have to do little mining to reach the interior of the structure. This seed is similar to the previous one, as it spawns you within a Village in a snowy biome. This time though, the ravine close by is far bigger with many more resources for you to collect to prepare for the End Portal's completion.

If you ever struggle to find out where a Stronghold is within the seed you generate, follow the instructions in the above video by YouTube creator Avomance to use an external map that displays the structure's coordinates on your map.

The Stronghold containing the End Portal can easily be seen as you venture down into the ravine here, as exposed mossy blocks contrast with the normal cave stone. It rests above an Abandoned Mineshaft structure, which you can use as another source of materials alongside those offered in the Village on the surface. Although it will still take some to finish the End Portal, having it close to you early will make the process easier.

6 Underground Dungeon

Seed: 134166409772139

Once again, this seed spawns you into a Village, only this time with a Blacksmith in Minecraft to get you even better materials for completing an End Portal. Getting Iron weapons and armor right away can help you deal with Blaze enemies faster to get Blaze Rods needed to make multiple Eyes of Ender. As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator FryBry, there is already an Iron Sword in the chest of the Blacksmith's house.

Under the Blacksmith Village, there is a massive Stronghold containing an early End Portal you can reach early after loading this sandbox. This place is practically like one of the new Trial Chamber dungeons introduced in the 1.21 update of Minecraft, with a ton of materials in chests that you can loot. Despite being extremely deep underground, the ease at which you can access this Portal makes it less risky to explore.

5 Plains And Portals

Seed: -990909152419832232

Minecraft completed End Portal from Plains and Portals early End Portal world seed

The previous seed's End Portal only had one Eye of Ender already set, which is typically the case in most Strongholds you discover. However, some rare seeds will spawn you near an early End Portal that has almost been completed with all 12 Eyes of Ender. This seed has a completed End Portal that you can simply jump into to travel to the realm of the Ender Dragon, the final boss of Minecraft.

Although you shouldn't try to challenge the Ender Dragon right away, the convenience of this End Portal cannot be underestimated. You don't have to make any Eyes of Ender through the defeat of tough Blazes or Endermen mobs. Unfortunately, the simple Plains and Meadow biomes near this seed's finished Portal have only basic resources, so you may want to spend some time looking for a material-rich cave before traveling to The End.

4 Nether And End Connections

Seed: 3419669393251397902

Minecraft Nether Portal with Blaze enemies and smoldering fires from Nether and End Connections early End Portal world seed

Another early End Portal from this seed places you inside a larger Village within a Taiga Forest on the edge of an Ice Spike biome. The End Portal itself comes with 10 Eyes of Ender already placed, but the real benefit comes from when you construct a Nether Portal. When you try to hunt down Blazes in the fiery realm, you can only find them in Nether Fortresses, rare structures that can be hard to find among the Nether's many dangers.

One of the best sources for materials and items useful for your eventual trip to The End are through Piglin mobs. Trading with Piglins in Minecraft that live in the Nether could give you the resources you need to complete a Stronghold's End Portal.

Building a Nether Portal in this seed's primary Village from spawn places you in a Nether Fortress right away, giving you a great opportunity to start hunting Blazes without any issues. Since you only have to make two Eyes of Ender to complete the End Portal, you shouldn't need to spend too long in the Nether either.

3 Ice Age End Portal

Seed: 2425564754069582094

Minecraft Taiga Forest Village from Ice Age End Portal early End Portal world seed

Another 10 Eye of Ender End Portal can be found in this seed, which also places you in a Taiga Forest Village when you spawn. What sets this seed apart, though, is how Ender Pearls are found in chests within the Stronghold containing the Portal, giving you the building blocks you need to finish your gateway to The End. Once again, the Nether Fortress containing Blaze mobs is close to the Village when you build a Nether Portal there.

Another interesting element to this seed is the two Shipwreck structures trapped in the nearby Ice Spike biome close to spawn. In addition to the materials you grab from the Village, you can add more items to your inventory from the treasures within the two derelict vessels. This should give you much of what you need to defend yourself against the hordes of Endermen on the other side of the End Portal as you challenge the Ender Dragon.

2 Complete Portal Construction

Seed: -42271913206800808

Minecraft large cave system next to Village from Completed End Construction early End Portal world seed

Those looking for a traditional Minecraft world with an early End Portal should consider this seed that places their character in a stereotypical Plains Village next to a mountain. Just under the Village is a completed End Portal, with all 12 Eyes of Ender in place to create a path between realms. Unlike the previous seed with a completed Portal, this world has many other areas you can quickly access for additional resources.

The large Forest next to the Village will give you plenty of starting materials to start upgrading gear. The normal pathway of Wood to Stone to Iron can easily be achieved here in record time with the presence of a huge cave system right next to the Village. Once you get what you need from the Forest, go down into the cave or into a Hill biome close by to scavenge for every possible material you need to jump into The End early.

1 The End Awaits

Seed: 7450399754159464024

As you have seen in other early End Portal seeds, having a completed Portal saves so much time when you want to reach The End early in your adventure. This seed has a finished Portal in a Stronghold underneath a Village but with a noticeable twist. Whereas other seeds with finished Portals placed you in limited biomes, this world spawns you in an area overly abundant with materials needed to overcome various challenges.

As you can see in the above video by Minecraft & Chill, this seed is perfect for speedrunning since it places you directly above the End Portal within spitting distance of the featured Village. This Village is surrounded by a River, Plains, Snowy Forest, Hill, and Mountain biome that all feature a variety of caves to explore and mine for valuable resources. This variety of locations close to spawn gives you many ways to prepare for a trip to The End.

Having a Portal ready to go at the start of your adventure takes away the pressure to find materials needed for Eyes of Ender. With this seed, you can tackle other projects without feeling the need to farm rare Blaze Rods or Ender Pearls. When you use the best world seeds with early End Portals in Minecraft, you can always have a way to reach The End whenever you want without having to do tedious work to open the path to the endgame.
