Three different Minecraft games are now available through the Minecraft Triple Bundle on multiple systems. The triple bundle includes most Minecraft spin-off games, but the Telltale Games Minecraft: Story Mode is not among them. Still, if you’re interested in buying all the different Minecraft spin-offs in one place, this bundle may be a deal for you.
If you are mostly familiar with Minecraft and other games like it, I will quickly run through what each game in this bundle has to offer and the general consensus about them. It’s up to you to decide if the bundle sounds worth it or if you’d be better off just picking up the game(s) you’re interested in. It’s also worth noting that PC and Xbox players may have a more reasonable alternative to this bundle available to them, which you can see by jumping to the cost section.
The Triple Bundle Includes The Standard Minecraft Game
The Version Of Minecraft In The Bundle Is Determined By The Platform You Have
Unsurprisingly, the Minecraft Triple Bundle includes a copy of Minecraft. If you’re playing on PC, the bundle includes the Bedrock and Java game versions. The Bedrock edition is the version that is available on consoles, whereas the Java version is exclusive to PC. The Java version doesn’t have crossplay with other consoles, but it does have some unique features that make it the preferable version for some players. The bundle gives PC players the best of both worlds.

16 Best Seeds For Islands In Minecraft
From jungle and desert temples to towering cliffs and lush caves, these are the best island seeds in Minecraft to start your next playthrough with.
Console players will only be getting the Bedrock version since it is only available on consoles. If you’re deciding between getting Minecraft on a console or PC, I would lean towards PC. Not only do you get both versions, but you won’t need a separate service like Xbox Live or PS Plus to play online with friends. That said, I would go with a console version if you are looking to play local multiplayer.
Minecraft Dungeons Is A Third-Person Dungeon Crawler
Minecraft Dungeons Is The Series’ Attempt At A Diablo-Style Game
Minecraft Dungeons is an isometric dungeon crawler with combat mechanics similar to something like Diablo. That said, the game is far simpler than a game like Diablo, and its mechanics aren’t quite as polished or satisfying. The game involves exploring a mixture of intentionally designed and procedurally generated dungeons while fighting off familiar Minecraft mobs.

16 Best Seeds For Minecraft 1.21 Bedrock Edition
The Bedrock Edition of Minecraft has plenty of gorgeous world seeds that could give you one of your best open-world sandbox experiences.
While Minecraft Dungeons’ designed levels are fine, some players have expressed displeasure with the procedurally generated aspects of the game. With any procedurally generated game, you run the risk of the randomized game world being a bit funky. This isn’t as big of an issue in the original Minecraft or similar open-world games like Valheim, but when it comes to a dungeon crawler, it’s typically nicer to have intentionally crafted environments. That said, the consensus on Minecraft Dungeons seems to be that it’s fine, nothing groundbreaking, but still enjoyable.
Minecraft Legends Is A Minecraft RTS
Minecraft Legends Is A Simple Strategy Game
Minecraft Legends may be the weakest of the three games included in the Minecraft Triple Bundle. Minecraft Legends is an RTS where you are tasked with defending a village from invading Piglins while also trying to destroy enemy bases. The game is rather simple, somewhat to a fault, as players typically want more depth from a strategy game. That said, I could see this being an okay introduction to this game style for a younger player who would be overwhelmed by too much complexity.

Minecraft x Hello Kitty Collab DLC Brings New Furniture, Quests, And Familiar Faces
Hello Kitty and her friends come to Minecraft in a special collaboration event full of items, activities, quests, and friendly faces.
On its own, Minecraft Legends costs $39.99, a price I wouldn’t recommend paying for this game. It makes it a nice candidate for something like the Minecraft Triple Bundle, as it’s enjoyable enough but not at the price it’s going for. That said, it’s worth considering all your options before buying the Minecraft Triple Bundle.
How Much Minecraft Triple Bundle Costs
Minecraft Triple Bundle Costs $49.99 to $59.99
The Minecraft Triple Bundle costs $59.99 on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox platforms. The bundle is $10 cheaper on PlayStation, going for $49.99. On paper, the Minecraft Triple Bundle is a good deal: buying each game individually would cost $89.97 at full price. However, it might not be the best option for you.
Subscribing to Game just for these three games wouldn’t be cheaper in the long run, if you’re already subscribed there’s no need to buy them.
If you play on Xbox or Windows, every game in the Minecraft Triple Bundle is available through Game . While subscribing to Game just for these three games wouldn’t be cheaper in the long run, if you’re already subscribed there’s no need to buy them. It may also be wise to test out Minecraft Legends and Minecraft Dungeons on Game before committing to buying them. You can save some money if you don’t want all three and just pick up the ones you want.

"I Basically Announced Minecraft 2": Minecraft Creator Notch Is Ready To Begin Working On A Spiritual Successor After Fan Input
The original creator of Minecraft is looking to make a new game, and has decided to work on a spiritual successor to Minecraft following fan poll.
If you don’t own Minecraft already and are interested in all three games, the Minecraft Triple Bundle is a good deal to consider. That said, with Minecraft being the strongest of the three games and significantly cheaper on its own, I think it’s worth ensuring you actually want to play Minecraft Legends or Minecraft Dungeons. If you aren't subscribed to Game , I would still recommend checking out some reviews and gameplay videos before committing to the bundle.
