Monopoly GO Marvel event, featuring Wolverine, Deadpool, Spider-Man, and The Avengers. The addictive and simplified version of the classic board game has reached a huge audience, and it is now pairing up with another one of the biggest IPs in entertainment history.

Announced in a video by the Star Wars Celebration Japan. The crossover event will add a Star Wars Go sticker album to fill, pod racing in the Mos Espa Grand Arena, and collectible in-game items like tokens, shields, and emojis. The event will begin May 1 and end on July 2.

In a fitting turn of events, all mobile game player eyes are on Monopoly GO after the deal to buy Pokémon Go developer Niantic for $3.5 billion. With two of the most popular mobile games now owned by Scopely, they may have a "monopoly" on the mobile game market moving forward. With massive crossovers drawing a lot of new interest to the game and with huge names under its corporate umbrella now, Monopoly GO has a huge future ahead of it.

Hopefully, this Star Wars crossover event meets Monopoly GO player expectations. Looking to the future, there is a lot of crossover potential, so this may just be the beginning of the game's potentially gigantic run.
