Monster Hunter Wilds - Title Update 1 and Roap

Title Update 1 will have a few major monster quests with its arrival, most notably the return of male Leviathan monster Mizutsune, and a new Zoh Shia repeatable hunt quest. Both of these quests will have some snazzy-looking equipment for both hunters and their Palicos to farm for. Mizutsune will unlock at Hunter Rank (HR) 21, while Zoh Shia will unlock at HR 50.

Outside of performance fixes there are plenty of exciting features that would make excellent additions to Monster Hunter Wilds in the reveal.

The Grand Hub functions as a new gathering hub for players to socialize. Unlockable at HR 15, The Grand Hub will give players a chance to observe the traditions of the village of Suja, including seasonal celebrations. The first seasonal event will be titled Festival of Accord: Blossomdance and will run between April 23 and May 7.

There will also be various limited-time event quests, including one for the monster Arch-tempered Rey Dau, who is slated to arrive on April 30. The Grand Hub will also include a fun new mini-game called Barrel Bowling that will have players rolling barrel bombs into targets. Looking forward, Title Update 2 for Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for this summer.

Our Take On The First Big Monster Hunter Wilds Update

The Equipment Looks Great And A Collaboration Is On the Horizon

The free Title Update 1 for the game looks like it has promising additions, and the equipment for the new Zoh Shia hunt in particular reminds me of something you'd find in Final Fantasy XIV. The seasonal events for the gathering hub are a cool touch, as it will give a reason for players to keep coming back and breathes new life into the game's ever expanding world.

An interesting note was that Monster Hunter Wilds will be having a collaboration event with another Capcom franchise in May. Street Fighter is what jumps to mind, but who knows? It would be fun to see hunters dress up as other well-known Capcom characters, so let's see what the game has in store for the future.
