Will Moon Knight Return To The MCU?
Moon Knight's return currently stands as one of the bigger mysteries within the MCU as a clear path has yet to be established for this beloved character. Following the success of Moon Knight's release, Isaac has offered a handful of direct teases that seem to hint at a future for the character, though any further appearances within the MCU have yet to be confirmed. Most recently, however, Isaac shared that he has had "no official word" regarding the return of Moon Knight, although, as is the way with the MCU, this latest comment may simply serve as a way of protecting any spoilers.
With regard to where Moon Knight could next appear, the most obvious choice would be in Moon Knight season 2, should this much-anticipated follow-up get the go-ahead from Marvel. Moon Knight season 1 ended with a major cliffhanger that confirmed the existence of a third alter within the DID system, Jake Lockley, therefore, it's expected that any future Moon Knight stories will explore this exciting revelation. As the MCU now shifts into Phase 5, there are certainly plenty of ways that the character could return. Given the character's previous comic book connections, many have speculated that Moon Knight could potentially have some involvement with Blade or even the Disney+ series, Echo.
These stunning new images will surely spark further calls for confirmation on Moon Knight's future, be that through a season 2 or a big-screen team-up. Moon Knight left quite a lasting impression on audiences and now many are understandably eager to learn just where this new hero will pop up next. With Phase 5 and Phase 6 set to continue to expand the MCU as we know it, there are seemingly endless possibilities as to how Moon Knight could return but, for now, it shall remain as one of Marvel's big secrets.
