Warning: Contains SPOILERS for What If…? Galactus Transformed Moon Knight #1! Moon Knight is known for his extreme violence and brutal nature in Marvel Comics, as he’s a street-level vigilante who isn’t afraid to make his enemies bleed. And now, Moon Knight has been elevated from street-level to cosmic status, where he faces one of the most terrifyingly powerful villains in the Marvel Universe. But, true to his reputation, Moon Knight still managed to make this cosmic powerhouse bleed.
In What If…? Galactus Transformed Moon Knight #1 by Alex Segura, Scot Eaton, and Chris Campana, Galactus beats Khonshu to death after the Moon God refuses to become his new Herald. Right before he dies, Khonshu calls out to Moon Knight and tells him to avenge his death by any means necessary. So, in that effort, Moon Knight meets with Galactus and agrees to become his Herald in Khonshu’s place, knowing all the while that he would eventually betray the Devourer of Worlds.
Once Moon Knight is flooded with the Power Cosmic, he is taken aback by the unparalleled power that’s suddenly surging through his body. While flying through the cosmos, getting a handle on his new powers, Moon Knight comes across a group of former Heralds who are plotting to kill Galactus as well. In the end, Moon Knight teams up with these Heralds and faces Galactus by their side. While each Herald delivers at least one solid attack, it’s Moon Knight who lands the most impressive blow, as he’s actually able to make Galactus bleed.

Gladiator Made Galactus Bleed in Doctor Strange Vol. 5 #16 by Barry Kitson, Mark Waid, and Scott Koblish
Moon Knight has officially ed the ranks of Marvel powerhouses that have done the seemingly impossible task of making Galactus bleed during battle, which is a status very few can boast. One other Marvel Comics character who’s also a member of this elite ‘club’ is Gladiator, who battled Galactus when the Devourer of Worlds became a hybrid of extreme science and extreme magic.
While countless other cosmic heroes tried and failed to even lay a finger on Galactus, Gladiator delivered a mighty punch to his face that actually drew blood. This moment stands as one of Gladiator’s most impressive, though after the events of What If…? Galactus Transformed Moon Knight, that feat isn’t exactly unique, as Moon Knight has just done the same thing. But, even still, it’s an insanely impressive thing for anyone to do.
