Screen Rant is very pleased to share an exclusive clip from the third episode of the AMC+ sci-fi series Moonhaven. Set a century in the future, Moonhaven first began on AMC+ on July 7 and focuses on a young space smuggler named Bella Way (Emma McDonald) who is exiled to a lunar colony known as "Moonhaven". Though Moonhaven acts as scientific community to preserve life on Earth and prevent its destruction, Bella soon discovers there's more going on.

It turns out some on Earth and on Moonhaven are determined to use the A.I. technology on the lunar base to wipe out Earth. It falls to Bella and a handful of others to prevent Moonhaven's Earth-saving technology from being used against Earth. Moonhaven 's first two of its six episodes have already been released, with the third arriving on AMC+ tomorrow.

Moonhaven was created by Peter Ocko, whose past television work includes Black Sails. Alongside McDonald and Monaghan, Moonhaven also co-stars Joe Manganiello, Amara Karan, Ayelet Zurer, Joe Manganiello, Kadeem Hardison, and Yazzmin Newell. Meanwhile, Moonhaven's unique setting and sci-fi premise are very new and intriguing things for sci-fi fans.

The base of Moonhaven is a second world full of life and Earthly conditions on the moon, as Earth is ravaged by the effects of climate change a century into the future. Moonhaven's story combines its sci-fi elements with a conspiracy thriller, while the A.I. itself, codenamed "Io" is light years beyond even the most advanced of A.I. programs. That should likely lead to Io playing a big role in Moonhaven's finale.

Since its debut on AMC+, Moonhaven has gotten an overall very strong reception from viewers and critics alike. Hopefully, that means fans of the show will have a chance to see further adventures in the new universe with season 2. Until then, the series has plenty going on in its story of humanity finding hope in the future with some clinging to its past in harmful ways, and as the above clip indicates, there's still plenty left to unfold before Moonhaven wraps up.
