Few shows that have aired on any network or streaming service have made less sense than Adult Swim, where virtually nothing makes sense and everything is a little scary. In the beginning, Frylock, Master Shake and Meatwad were supposedly detectives, trying to solve cases and help people. They gave up on that virtually immediately. Instead, the Aqua Teens focused primarily on ruining the life of their neighbor, Carl. Still, they managed to rack up a pretty impressive rogues gallery of enemies.

Bert Banana

When Frylock first met Bert Banana online, he decided that Bert might actually be a good new friend for him. Things didn't quite work out that way. Bert arrived at the house with his girlfriend, Tammy Tangerine, and friend, Mortimer Mango. Bert revealed that he was a recovering alcoholic and drug addict who once beat Tammy so hard that his hands needed to be replaced. The problem was he almost immediately fell into a spiral of alcohol fueled violence he dragged Tammy and Mortimer into. Then, they tried to kill Shake because Frylock told them he was full of crystal meth. In their defense, that actually could have been true.

Zack Wylde

Zack Wylde is a songwriter best known for being Ozzy Osborne's guitarist and the founder of Black Label Society. But on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, he and Geddy Lee were commissioned by Master Shake to help write a song to take the place of "Happy Birthday." Naturally, Shake's song was a miserable failure and he couldn't afford to pay Wylde the money he owed him.

In response, Wylde put an ax-shaped guitar through Shake's skull. Shake then tried to stage a performance featuring robotic scorpions and Wylde. It didn't work out, and Wylde was eventually killed by the scorpions. Come to think of it, Shake might have been the villain on this one.

Dr. Wongburger

This was a doctor you simply could not trust. As a d!@k alien marooned on Earth, Dr. Wongburger became the owner of a chain of burger ts called Wong Burger. He used an in store promotion as a means of getting men to be contractually obligated to let him rip their d!@ks off. Wongburger's goal was to build a new d!@k ship and go back to his d!@k planet. The first time the Aqua Teens met Wongburger, he was trying to rip Carl's d!@k off. While they defeated him, Wongburger kept coming back and got weirder each time.

Cybernetic Ghost Of Christmas Past From The Future

Not only is the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future one of the most memorable villains the Aqua Teens ever faced, there's a good chance it might be the most annoying. Ghost was a crazy robot that thought it was the Ghost of Christmas Past.

In reality, it just told long, rambling stories about nothing that were both convoluted and insane. The big question has always been if the stories were an excuse to fill Carl's pool with elf blood or the other way around. The only way Carl could escape him was by selling his house to Glenn Danzig, who the Ghost hated.

The Voice Of The Broodwich

The only way to get Shake to do something useful is by tricking him. As an example, Frylock tricked Shake into helping plant his azalea bushes by telling him the front yard was filled with buried treasure. The end result was Shake stumbling onto the Broodwich, a sandwich that sends people to a dimension filled with horrors and torture when eaten. The Voice, a disembodied entity associated with the Broodwich, essentially peer pressured him into eating the damn thing.

MC Pee Pants

Saying that Meatwad has terrible taste in rap music would be an understatement. His favorite was MC Pee Pants, a demon spawned rapper who had ridiculous plans to take over the world and sent instructions to his followers through his music. Unfortunately for him, his only follower was Meatwad, so nothing really ever went his way.

MC Pee Pants got killed every time he appeared, then returned in a different form with a new and even more terrible song than before. Meatwad never seemed to figure out it was the same guy but Frylock did and he hated MC Pee Pants.

The Plutonians

Oglethorpe and Emory sucked at pretty much everything. From their battles with the Aqua Teens to their rivalry with The Mooninites, The Plutonians failed at virtually everything they did. But it's hard to blame them since they didn't really ever seem to have a goal that makes any coherent sense. They did seem inexorably tied to The Mooninites as Oglethorpe went to high school with Ignignokt. The mutual animosity between the two groups played out through the season three cold opens, which were titled "Spacecataz."

Dr. Weird

All of the cold opens throughout seasons one and two of Aqua Teen Hunger Force featured the ongoing, irrational adventures of Dr. Weird and his assistant, Steve. Early on in the series, the things he did in the cold opens would impact the Aqua Teens but that changed quickly as Dr. Weird got increasingly random.

Adding some more strangeness to the strange bonfire that was Dr. Weird, creator Dave Willis confirmed at "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Live" in 2010 that the good doctor actually created the Aqua Teens, something fans long suspected.

The Mooninites

Adult Swim gets weird, and The Mooninites were prime examples of that. If there were any villains that could be considered breakout characters on the show, it was them. Ignignokt and Err were constantly in the Aqua Teens' business, mostly just to be jerks. They were elitists who believed they were more advanced that pretty much everyone and took every opportunity to rub that in people's faces. Most of their plans ended in failure but it seemed like that didn't really matter to them as their main priority was messing with the Aqua Teens over anything else.

Carl

While Carl has never been specifically classified as a villain, there was no one on the show who hated the Aqua Teens more than him. The poor bastard lived next door to those lunatics for years, trying in vain to find ways to discourage them from talking to him. The problem was he would often send mixed messages by willingly spending time with them. That was mostly likely because the guy had literally no other friends. It was the Aqua Teens or nothing for Carl. Their best frenemy relationship was a defining aspect of the show.
