Moto G 5G and Moto G Stylus 5G.

The Moto Edge lineup also received new models including the Moto Edge+ (2022) flagship which is Motorola's first smartphone with a smart stylus, and the mid-range Moto Edge (2022). The latter is the first Motorola smartphone to ship without a charger in the box. However, it will receive longer software than the Motorola Edge+.

The Razr 2022 is yet to get a global release, although a recent report revealed it will cost a pretty penny when it launches in Europe. While confirmation of a U.S. launch is still unknown, Motorola is already developing two new foldable Razr smartphones for 2023, according to tipster Evan Blass. Blass disclosed that the devices are codenamed “Juno” and “Venus” but didn't reveal much else. However, details of the former surfaced earlier this year.

Will Motorola Launch A Galaxy Fold Rival?

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and S Pen

A few specs of the Motorola Juno were revealed by Blass in June 2022 in a leak detailing Motorola's roap for 2022 and 2023. It appears that Juno is the follow-up to Maven a.k.a. the Moto Razr 2022 and will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In addition, just like the Razr 2022, its (main) display will have a 144Hz refresh rate. Since the chipset and refresh rate are the same, there may not be many differences from the Razr 2022.

There are no details about Venus yet, but Motorola could go with a different design. Its Razr line of foldable smartphones has stuck to a clamshell form factor similar to the Galaxy Z Flip series. However, it may be time for Motorola to diversify its foldable line to also include horizontally foldable smartphones like the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Oppo Find N, or even the outward-folding Huawei Mate Xs 2. That said, Motorola's phones are still months away and more details are expected to surface closer to launch.
