They could show Glover and Erskine's characters the ropes, especially if Parker Posey and Wagner Moura's characters are out of the picture.

Both Pitt's John and Jolie's Jane were featured discussing their complicated relationship with a marriage counselor in the original movie, which would make it unexpected and hilarious to have them cast as a marriage counselor in the series. Alternatively, Pitt or Jolie's characters could have taken on new identities and lifestyles after retiring from the company and reveal themselves to be former Hihi agents.

This could arguably be done entirely through implication and without actually casting Jolie or Pitt in the series by having a mysterious unknown "John" or "Jane" give them a mission through Hihi's chat services.

This could lead up to the reveal of Pitt's John communicating exclusively to Glover's character and Jolie's Jane talking only to Erskine's rendition, in which Pitt's John could secretly hire Glover's John to take out Jolie's Jane.

This would allow Glover's John and Erskine's Jane to move up the ranks and replace Posey and Moura's Super High-Risk status, which means they would be sent to take out other John and Jane's, which could include Pitt or Jolie's original characters.
