Ms. Marvel's story in the MCU has just begun, and the character has yet to comprehend her powers as well as learn how to use them, but the comics reveal that she will have an exciting future in the MCU. Ms. Marvel s the Avengers in the comics, and while the MCU is known for taking creative liberties and moving characters into different directions, it is safe to say that Kamala Khan will be part of at least some superhero team in the near future. Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau, which could be Ms. Marvel's first step into ing other heroes. With Avengers 5 still a few years away, given the lack of updates, Ms. Marvel could be part of the Avengers' next lineup, but there is also the chance the character s the potential Young Avengers team the MCU is setting up, even though Kamala has never actually been part of the Young Avengers in the comics.

Ms. Marvel's Avengers History In The Comics

Ms Marvel, Spider-Man and Nova quit the Avengers.

Ms. Marvel had already met a few superheroes before Secret Wars, but it was only after the major editorial event that sort of rebooted the Marvel universe that Kamala ed the Avengers. Kamala was invited by Iron Man to the team along with Nova (Sam Alexander) and Spider-Man (Miles Morales) and the three became faces of a new generation of Avengers. Veteran heroes like Tony Stark and Sam Wilson took on mentoring roles, but that transition was not too easy. There was always a certain level of friction between the seasoned Avengers and the newest ones, something that would escalate even further during the events of the second Civil War. The Civil War II comic book arc saw the Avengers once again splitting, and by the time the conflict ended, Nova, Spider-Man, and Ms. Marvel decided to quit the team. Those three would then get together with other young heroes, namely a time-traveling Cyclops, the new Hulk (Amadeus Cho), and Vision's daughter Viv to form a team that would be known as the Champions.

Will Young Avengers Happen In The MCU?

While no official Young Avengers' lineup nor the way the team is formed in the comics will necessarily be replicated in the MCU. In that scenario, the franchise could take some creative liberties and have Ms. Marvel be a founding member of the Young Avengers, especially considering that Miles Morales and Sam Alexander are not around to form the Champions.

The MCU is not strange to mashing up different characters or different teams into one thing. For example, Sylvie in Thunderbolts movie could be borrowing elements from the Dark Avengers. In a similar way, the MCU's Young Avengers could serve as the project to bring together every new hero in the franchise, including Ms. Marvel's Kamala Khan, either because they are too inexperienced to the Avengers or because those heroes themselves prefer not to act under the guides of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
