Given how many great players have had multiple appearances on MTV's The Challenge, it's no surprise that many of them have to make quite a few attempts before actually winning the entire show.

And, while there have been a few great players who have been on many seasons of The Challenge, there are a select few contestants who play hard enough, have showed enough talent or skill, or have gotten far along in the game often enough that it seems like they are bound to finally win the whole shebang at some point. So, which players seem like they are destined to take home the gold someday?

Leroy Garrett

If Leroy doesn't actually he has Kam and the majority alliance on his side.

However, given that Leroy has said he's not going to return to The Challenge after this season, if he doesn't win now, he apparently never will.

Nelson Thomas

Nelson Thomas from The Challenge

Nelson is a player who always performs consistently well, and has made it to the end or very close to the end many times. And as he demonstrated in his performance against Fessy in Hall Brawl, he's got an unstoppable heart and a huge drive to compete in the game.

His biggest weaknesses are obviously puzzles and strategy, but if he ever partners up with anyone who does have those talents, he'd likely win.

Tori Deal

Tori Deal The Challenge

Tori is obviously one of the toughest competitors in the recent era of the game, but she's actually got a lot in common with Nelson. What she's good at, she's great at, and what she's bad at is her Achilles heel that has prevented her from a win thus far.

She's not a great strategist nor is she good at figuring out Challenges on the fly, but if she pairs up with a partner with those strengths, or she just gets lucky, she could win.

Devin Walker

Devin Walker on The Challenge

Devin's skill set is obviously grounded in the more intellectual and psychological aspects of the game, and he takes advantage of the fact that he knows how to get under the other players' skin.

However, despite his claims to the contrary, he's actually a pretty well-rounded player who can beat some of the toughest competitors in Challenge history, and he's made it to a final before, so it seems likely he might squeeze out a win in a future season.

Kyle Christie

Kyle Christie on The Challenge

For whatever reason, Kyle has figured out a nearly perfect strategy to get far in the game, and either his fellow competitors haven't figured it out or just don't care.

He's good at flying under the radar, straight-up lying to people's faces, and making them believe that he's not as much of a threat as most of the other players. But much like Devin, he's actually a surprisingly well-rounded player who'd just need some luck to win a final.

Jay Starrett

Jay Starrett's smiling in a promotional photo from The Challenge

Well, Jay has already demonstrated that he can beat someone of CT's caliber in elimination, and he and Theresa won the mini-final Challenge on this season of Double Agents.

Jay has not been great at staying under the radar thus far, but his lean athleticism is exactly the kind of talent that is great in finals, which often require a lot of endurance and sometimes disfavor the huge male competitors.

Natalie Anderson

Natalie Anderson on The Challenge

Maybe this is jumping the gun given that Natalie only just started competing in The Challenge and wound up being medically disqualified early on, but if she actually becomes a Challenge regular it seems inevitable that she'll eventually win one.

She's crazy athletic, super smart, and plays an aggressive and unafraid game, which is a great recipe for a future win. She also seems to have abilities on par with some of the best female players in the game currently.

Faysal "Fessy" Shafaat

Fessy on The Challenge

Fessy's not exactly the new CT, but he's pretty athletic and more importantly, he's huge.

The likelihood that he'll be able to skate to any final without seeing an elimination is insanely high, and while newer seasons have required an elimination win in order to compete in the final, that's not necessarily going to be a permanent change in the game. Add in his Big Brother alliance, and he seems poised to make it to a lot of future finals.

Kaycee Clark

Kaycee Clark in The Challenge

Kaycee has only been on two seasons, but as of now, it looks like she will make it to two finals as well, so it seems like a pretty safe bet that she's a future winner.

Kaycee is extremely athletic, has the Big Brother squad behind her, and unlike most of her other Big Brother allies, she has somehow managed to stay under the radar and avoid becoming a target.

Kam Williams

Kam Williams The Challenge

Honestly, it seems like a given that Kam is going to win a Challenge one of these days.

Not only does she have no weaknesses as a competitor and has figured out how to completely control the game, but most importantly, it doesn't seem like she's going to stop coming on the show until she actually scores a win.
