One of the most unique aspects of MTV's brings back popular players to play different seasons of the game, so it's not unusual for great Challenge players to appear on five, ten, or even fifteen different seasons of the long-running reality TV competition.

And, because the show until they finally score their win. However, every player has to hang up their Challenge jersey at some point, so which previous winners are not going to win another season of The Challenge?

Veronica Portillo

In an earlier era of The Challenge, Veronica was one of the most dominant players. Not only was she one of the best female players in of her physical abilities, but her friend group and allies basically ran the game completely.

Veronica scored a few wins in her time, and she's actually still a pretty solid threat in more recent seasons, but her lack of allegiances as well as the increased competition means she almost certainly won't win again.

Landon Lueck

It would actually be amazing to see Landon come back for another season of The Challenge, as when he made his original appearances, it seemed like he was pretty much impossible to beat.

Even though the competition has gotten more intense in recent years, it'd be fascinating to see how he'd fare against some big players in the current era, because it seems likely that he'd still be able to give them a run for their money. However, given what a big threat he's still perceived as, it seems probable that he'd be frozen out even if he came back to the show.

Katie Doyle

Katie is yet another old-school challenger, but unlike Veronica, she was pretty much always on the outs with the people she played with and rarely had allies who would carry her through the game.

That actually makes her win in The Inferno all the more impressive, because she really had to work to make it to the final, but given that she was known as the tiny firecracker who loves to smoke rather than work out, she's not scoring a win again, even on All Stars.

Abram Boise

When Abram was on a streak of Challenge appearances he was one of the best players in the game, and he'll still go down in history as one of the best to ever play and win.

However, his appearances on the show have become fewer and further between for years, so even if he made another showing in a future season, his lack of connections to the current cast as well as the intense competition would likely shut him out of a win.

Sarah Rice

It would appear that Sarah Rice isn't coming back to The Challenge in the future, but to be honest, after her final win, who could blame her?

Johnny Bananas isn't the only person who stole all the prize money from his partner (in fact, that steal is how Ashley "Millionaire" Mitchell earned her nickname), but Sarah was the first victim of losing when she actually won, and it doesn't seem like her chances of scoring another win are very high.

Evelyn Smith

In the era where Ev actually appeared on The Challenge, she was unequivocally the strongest female player in the game, which is why it was so disappointing when she stopped coming on to the series.

It'd be interesting to see how she'd fare against some of the newer crop of competitors though, because while she'd still be one of the strongest players on the show, there are some women who could give her a run for their money, and undoubtedly getting Evelyn out quick would be their top priority.

Coral Smith

Coral Smith is one of those Challenge players that fans have never forgotten, and viewers who have been following the series long enough to her have been lobbying for her return for years.

So, the fact that she's never come back to The Challenge despite the fact that fans desperately want her back makes it seem unlikely that she'll ever return, but even if she did, the physical game wasn't really her strong suit anyway.

Jamie Chung

In most instances, former Challenge champs wind up leaving the series behind because they leave reality TV for regular life. But in rare instances, challengers abandon the show because they go on to even greater fame and fortune.

Jamie Chung is obviously one of the latter. She originally appeared on The Real World: San Diego and actually won The Inferno 2 with the rest of the Good Guys team, but obviously, she'll never be winning again.

Theo Von

Although most people don't consider reality TV a route to more legitimate success in the entertainment industry, it would appear that former challengers have a lot of luck on their side when it comes to that.

Comedian Theo Von (known to Challenge fans as Theo Vonkurnatowski) won The Challenge a few times before hanging up his competition hat and becoming a surprisingly successful stand-up comic and podcaster.

Mike Mizanin

The Miz in Supernatural

It's actually wild to realize, but once upon a time, Mike "The Miz" Mizanin was just a former Real Worlder who dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler.

And apparently, dreams do come true, as now Miz is one of the most famous WWE wrestlers today. He competed on The Challenge a few times and actually won twice, but clearly, his days of competing in The Challenge are long gone.
