Daffy Duck might not be confirmed as a playable character in Looney Tunes icon. Earlier this year, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Player First Games confirmed rumors of a Super Smash Bros.- style 2D platforming brawler starring characters from a wide range of Warner-owned brands, including DC Comics, Cartoon Network, and even HBO television programs like Game Of Thrones.

Naturally, the long-running Looney Tunes franchise was one of many such properties to be represented in MultiVersus, with Bugs Bunny and the Tasmanian Devil being among the first combatants announced for the game. Just before MultiVersus launched its free-to-play beta in July, Warner Interactive confirmed that the Looney TunesSpace Jam: A New Legacy co-star LeBron James would be lacing up his sneakers for another round with his animated friends, complete with an alternate Robin cosplay outfit based on a memorable scene in that film. However, Daffy Duck has yet to his human, rabbit, and Tasmanian devil counterparts in MultiVersus - but that hasn’t stopped some players from imagining what the perpetually-cynical duck’s appearance, stats, and moveset would be like.

Daffy Duck Could Be A Solid Addition To MultiVersus

Though there hasn’t been any official word from Warner Bros. Interactive or Player First Games about whether or not Daffy Duck will be added to MultiVersus, the companies behind the new mascot fighter have promised plenty of new characters as MultiVersus releases its first expansion update. In addition to the aforementioned LeBron James, the MultiVersus Founder’s Pack promises to bring no less than 19 new playable fighters to the game - including the titular duo of Rick and Morty from the popular Adult Swim show.

Considering that he is one of the most famous of the decade-spanning Looney Tunes library, with plenty of video game appearances already to his name, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine Daffy Duck being added as a playable character in MultiVersus down the road - either as himself or his space-age Duck Dodgers persona. The impressive fan concepts developed by talented artists like Jorden Rutter and Dylan Micheli could be a fun preview of what Daffy’s playstyle could be like if and when he is ever confirmed as part of MultiVersus growing list of playable combatants - and they could easily be mistaken for actual in-game assets.
