It takes them from the setting of a private island to Paris, with Murder Mystery 2's ending taking place at the Eiffel Tower. Adam Sandler headlines Murder Mystery 2's cast of characters as Nick Spitz. The former New York City police officer finds himself working with his wife in the sequel as they attempt to start their own detective agency. He is hesitant to get certification that could help the business because of his pride and experience of being a detective before. Murder Mystery 2 is another Adam Sandler Netflix movie and follows his dramatic turn in 2022's Hustle and his comedic performance in 2021's Hubie Halloween.
Jennifer Aniston as Audrey Spitz
Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston returns as Audrey Spitz for Murder Mystery 2. Audrey is no longer a hairdresser after the events of the first movie, using Murder Mystery's ending to begin her efforts to become a detective herself. Audrey proves to be very knowledgeable about what to do as she and Nick investigate the kidnapper plot. Returning as part of Murder Mystery 2's cast marks the first movie role for Aniston since the first movie, as she has spent the last few years leading Apple TV+'s The Morning Show.
Mark Strong as Connor Miller
The biggest new addition to the Murder Mystery 2 cast of characters is Mark Strong as Connor Miller. He is a former MI6 agent who has now become an author, as he wrote the book to study for the detective test Nick and Audrey need to take. Connor's role in the movie is as a more experienced and professional detective hired to find the Murder Mystery 2 kidnapper identity. Mark Strong is arguably best known for his role as Merlin in the Kingsman movies. He has recently appeared as Dr. Sivana in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the Oscar-nominated movie Tár, and in Disney's live-action Cruella.
