The Scorpio sign is one that values truth and authenticity the most. Not only do Scorpios work hard to ensure they are living honest lives, but they expect honesty from everyone around them and can not have meaningful relationships that are built on truth.
Once a Scorpio has found a friend or partner, they hold onto that person and care deeply about nurturing those important relationships. Scorpios make for some of the best friends because of their loyalty and innate honesty. For those Scorpios looking to sing along to a movie at their next get-together, there are musical recommendations they should keep an eye out for, or keep away from.
Love: The Greatest Showman (2017)
The Scorpio sign is a very brave and ionate sign. When they find something they believe in, it's hard to get them to see anything else and they set out on a mission to achieve even the craziest dreams. For that reason, Scorpios will love and appreciate Hugh Jackman's character, P.T. Barnum in the hit musical, the ensemble Greatest Showman cast and the way they one another throughout the film.
Hate: Pitch Perfect (2012)
when the acapella groups can come together that Pitch Perfect gets really good, and those moments are few and far between.
Love: La La Land (2016)
Scorpios will specifically love Sebastian's character in La La Land. Played by Ryan Gosling, Sebastian has a certain intensity in this film that is just a part of who he is and the fact that he isn't afraid to show it, is something Scorpios will definitely find relatable.
They will also be able to appreciate Sebastian's love for jazz music and his big, brave dreams of one day having his own jazz club.
Hate: Rent (2005)
Over the years Broadway musicals to be made into a film and stars most of the original Broadway cast in their iconic roles. This is a musical movie most Scorpios won't enjoy because it seems as though everyone has a secret or a hidden agenda in this film and Scorpios can't relate to a group of friends keeping so much from one another.
Love: Les Miserables (2012)
Scorpios are a very brave sign and appreciate seeing that trait, not just in the people in real life, but in characters on screen. The musical Les Miserables is full of brave characters fighting, not only for what they believe in, but also for survival in 19th century .
The characters in this musical feature film are sturdy and know what they want and those are things that any Scorpio can appreciate watching.
Hate: The Last Five Years (2014)
The Last Five Years, a musical by Jason Robert Brown and starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan, is probably not something any Scorpio is going to like. This musical feature film tells the story of Cathy and Jamie and how they meet, fall in love, get married, and then divorce. The film is also told in two separate timelines, with Cathy's story starring at the divorce and going backwards, and Jamie's story beginning when he and Cathy first meet.
Love: Frozen (2013)
Disney's massive musical feature film hit, Frozen, has a lot that a Scorpio can appreciate. Else, the main character in the film and the one with secret powers is probably a Scorpio and definitely a character Scorpios can relate to.
Elsa is brave and fierce, but also carries a secret. When her secret is finally revealed, Elsa realizes she can finally be her authentic self and there's no stopping her once she has this revelation.
Hate: Walk The Line (2005)
Walk the Line, is a biographical musical movie starring Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix as June Carter and Johnny Cash. This film tells the true story of Johnny Cash and June Carter meeting and falling in love and was critically acclaimed, earning both actors Academy Awards. Scorpios will struggle to see the appeal in this story because Johnny and June's relationship was so up and down throughout the years.
Love: Mamma Mia (2008)
Scorpios are a very ionate sign and the cast of the musical feature film, Mamma Mia, is ionate, to say the least. This movie is so much fun to watch because it's clear that the actors had so much fun making it. Scorpios will love everyone's commitment in this film and truthful storytelling and they'll definitely be able to appreciate all the great ABBA classics on the big screen.
Hate: High School Musical (2006)
Like in most high schools, there is a lot of scheming going on in the Disney teen musical feature film, characters auditioning for their school musical. Not only do these characters struggle with one another, but they struggle with finding themselves and staying truthful to what they believe in, which is a struggle most Scorpios can't understand or relate to.
