Warning: Spoilers for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, episode #3My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has finally introduced its first major villain, and her Quirk is perfectly suited to cause terror and chaos throughout a huge area. She may, in fact, be one of the toughest My Hero Academia villains to track down, and by all appearances, she's an ordinary high school girl.

So far in Vigilantes, the villains that the protagonists have encountered have all been ordinary people who were exposed to the drug Trigger, either willingly or unwillingly, which caused their Quirks to run out of control. With reduced capacity for reasoning and logic, these Instant Villains as they're called would often start lashing out and destroying the nearby area, necessitating a hero to come in and shut them down before the damage is too severe. Few of them have been intending to cause trouble, and tracking down the source of Trigger has been Knuckleduster's main goal so far.

Vigilantes' New Main Villain Can Cause Chaos Anywhere

Kuin Hachisuka's Ability Can Spread Trigger Far and Wide

Vigilantes episode 3 introduced the character of Kuin Hachisuka, a young girl who was first shown eagerly taking a selfie with Pop Step, only to then be crawled upon by a suspicious-looking bee with a syringe-like abdomen. After separating from her friends, it became apparent that Kuin commanded a massive hive of these bees, which apparently hide under an eyepatch in her empty eye cavity. This fact immediately gives her a disturbing and unsettling vibe, and she soon releases a swarm of bees, each carrying a load of Trigger, with which she infects a dozen innocent civilians, turning them into monsters.

There aren't many Quirks that allow one to command such a huge array of creatures, much less ones with an interchangeable payload like these bees have. Injecting people with Trigger is bad enough, but Kuin Hachisuka could just as easily use these bees to deliver poisons or intoxicants, allowing her to debilitate anyone who tries to stand against her as well. The bees can travel quite far from her main body also, so she doesn't even need to be anywhere near the battlefield. This would make it near impossible to catch her, even if one was already certain of her involvement in the Instant Villain incidents.

Kuin Hachisuka is a Completely Different Sort of Villain

Her Quirk is a Perfect Fit for a Mastermind

Kuin Hachisuka

If one wanted to cause chaos and distract heroes using Trigger, then there's no Quirk more perfectly suited for the task than Kuin Hachisuka's. She can literally strike anywhere at any time, and there's almost no way to catch her in the act. Her true identity as a high schooler also makes her unlikely to be suspected, giving her a perfect cover if, for some reason, she is considered a suspect. Of course, Kuin Hachisuka probably isn't the leader here, either; just where is she getting Trigger from, anyway? Finding out who this dangerous villain is truly working for is going to be up to the heroes of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes.
