Heading into summer 2025, My Hero Academia fans have even more thrilling news to anticipate, namely, a brand-new My Hero Academia artbook with exclusive illustrations by mangaka Kohei Horikoshi and an exclusive Anime Expo 2025 with celebrity appearances and announcements regarding season eight of the anime.

A New My Hero Academia Artbook Was Just Released

The Book Includes a Jaw-Dropping 144 My Hero Academia Characters and Their Pro Hero Designs

The My Hero Academia Ultra Age fanbook hit shelves on May 2, 2025, a little over a month ago. The book was filled with illustrations of renowned characters from the franchise alongside new information about them, as well as a never-before-seen oneshot set eight years after the conclusion of the manga. The oneshot offered a glimpse into the hero careers of characters like Bakugo, Todoroki, and Deku, long after the events of the momentous Final War arc. Sneak peeks of the new artbook suggest that it will show off the characters' Pro Hero designs even more than the last book.

The artbook will feature the characters' Pro Hero designs, jumping ahead eight years after the events of the series.

A glimpse of the artbook on X revealed Shoto Todoroki's Pro Hero design, and announced that a whopping 144 My Hero Academia characters will be included within the pages of the new fanbook. It is titled My Hero Academia Ultra Artworks, and is sure to be a staple item in any true My Hero Academia fan's collection, because of the insight it offers into these heroes' lives and careers as well as hundreds of phenomenal illustrations meticulously done by mangaka Kohei Horikoshi himself.
