10 Best Kakashi Moments in Naruto History, Ranked

Kakashi is one of Naruto's most iconic characters, and that has created some truly incredible moments fans still .

Early in the series, fans see this motif as Team 7 confronts Zabuza. Although he stands as their enemy, his love for Haku overshadows his malice, and Team 7 allows him to find peace in his end next to his mentee. Many conflicts throughout the Naruto saga are exasperated by a lack of empathy and even an indifference to struggle despite having it. Although it’s easy to be blinded by pain and feel envy and bitterness, many personas, whether protagonist or antagonist, show how at the core of most struggle is the desire to be understood, accepted, and comforted.

If people are able to change the mindset of ‘me versus other’ to one of respect, curiosity, and forgiveness, this could be the first step to a positive relationship that wouldn’t have happened otherwise, as seen with Naruto and Gaara’s friendship despite their early conflict. Grief is unique and holds many layers, but despite personal experience, human nature can overcome a lack of empathy for positive sympathy and make room for healing.

4 Having the Persistence to Change Can Bring Redemption

Do Not Get Stuck in the Past & Instead Use it to Grow

There are many trials and tribulations that all characters face in the story, yet those who persist become leading characters and create better outcomes. Naruto, his team, and his encounters with foes encourage watchers and readers to take hardships in stride and use challenges and failure as a mode for growth. When seeing Naruto’s childhood, it is easy to assume that he could have taken a darker path to rectify his pain and solitude. Instead, his childlike wonder and tenacity give him a push to the light, bringing recovery to his past and the village.

Naruto actually does turn evil in one alternate version of the series' world as seen in Road To Ninja: Naruto Shippuden The Movie.

Mirroring this, Sasuke is one of the main modes to express the sentiment of redemption. Although his motivations were unsavory, Sasuke uses his loss of family and his gap in power with Naruto to evolve and grow stronger. Later, through him, fans see that destiny is not set, and there are ways to come back from bad decisions.

Although Sasuke was lost in resentfulness and betrayal for years, his forgiving peers, mentors, and ultimately his found brother Naruto gave him another chance to redeem his younger self’s mistakes, allowing him to protect the village from afar. There are ways to use guilt productively, urging people to not drown in shame.

Ultimately, a message to take away from this anime icon is to not get stuck in the past and surround yourself with regret. It is better to use these feelings to not repeat the past. As many regret the loss of loved ones, like Tsunade, Sasuke, and Kakashi, regret the consequences of conflicts, like Jiraiya, or regret their shortcomings in the face of challenges, like a young Sakura and Naruto, they do what they can to make sure flaws do not become habit, and they can make a positive impact regardless. Embracing difficulties can lead to becoming stronger and more resilient.

Whether it be within their own village or relationships that span across borders, the bonds between characters are crucial in both tactical and interpersonal growth and prosperity.

Relationships in their many forms are never black and white, and although people continuously falter, a major message that Masashi Kishimoto provides is that unconditional love is one of the most valuable things in life. Team 7, despite outside disapproval, continues to persuade Sasuke to stop his path of destruction and come back to the Leaf Village. During their final battle, Sasuke seems annoyed by Naruto’s persistence at first, but in the end, he reluctantly its that this was one of the saving graces for a place and people that greatly hurt him.
