- Now on its sixth season, Élite is an endless parade of characters. Even as it says goodbye to some of its most famous players, the show keeps introducing new figures and mysteries that keep audiences hooked. These characters are unique and fascinating, adding to the show's trademark vibe of chaos and messiness, and loyal fans will have no trouble identifying which personality type they have according to the Myers-Briggs personality test.
Personality is just something that money can't buy, but don't tell that to the teenagers on Netflix's hit series Élite. In their world, money can buy almost anything: the mansion they live in, the friends they hang out with, everything and everyone is for sale. This social club mainly consists of the very rich, but a few pretenders occasionally the fray.
At least until those present finds out the truth. When that happens, there is always a price to pay when the claws come out. For fans of the show, it might be surprising to find out which characters are the thinkers, artists, and protectors in the series, judged by their MBTI® personality type.

Now on its sixth season, Élite is an endless parade of characters.
Ari: ESTJ
Although Ari is at the center of a rather disappointing love triangle in her debut season, she becomes a much more engaging character in season 5. She goes through a long and surprisingly effective arc that sees her go from a perfectionist girl with a chronic fear of failure to someone who embraces life's possibilities and challenges.
Ari can be quite intense, but others appreciate her enthusiasm and commitment. She loves to run the show and have the last word, rarely showing her vulnerability. Ari is also very dependable, even if she sometimes makes the mistakes typical of a girl her age.
Mencía: ENFP
Mencía is the black sheep of her family. Like her siblings, she arrives in season 4 and immediately lets her presence be known. Mencía is a tornado of energy, a force of nature than can cause considerable harm to others. However, she's also caring and warm, especially to the few people she considers special.
Despite her numerous flaws, Mencía is creative and spontaneous. She has many qualities that make her a wonderful friend and ally, as long as her self-destructive behavior doesn't get in the way. Mencía always tries to see the good in others, which can often lead her down the wrong path.
Patrick: ESTP
Patrick arrives in season 4 and immediately makes a mark on the show. Élite introduces him as an outgoing and fun-loving guy with a somewhat superficial characterization. However, season 5 goes deeper into his psyche to reveal an insecure young man who longs for love.
Versatile and spontaneous, Patrick is the life of the party in public. In private, he is much more docile and vulnerable, longing for a genuine connection with some he can love. His relationship with Iván is one of the show's most popular, even if it ends conclusively. And although they become one of the teen genre's best star-crossed couples, they will hopefully get a happy ending.
Iván: ISFJ
As one of the new characters debuting in season 5, Iván faced the challenge of winning over the audience's interest despite arriving so late in the show's run. However, his caring attitude and romance with Patrick helped him become of Élite's all-time favorite characters.
As a classic ISFJ, Iván is warm and gentle. He loves caring for others, and his overly tender approach can sometimes be confused with attraction. Iván's unassuming nature can come across as annoying, as others perceive it as willful blindness rather than natural modesty.
Omar: ISFP
Omar is among Élite's most interesting and layered figures. Growing up in a deeply religious family means he feels trapped, unable to express his desires and live his sexuality freely. Omar's relationship with Ander helps him become more open and extroverted, discovering new sides to himself he previously didn't feel free to indulge.
Throughout the show, Omar shows a remarkable sense of flexibility and adaptability. He is a warm, caring, and nurturing person. Omar is perhaps too sensitive, but after spending so long repressing his wishes, it makes sense that he would favor overt displays rather than subdued behaviors.
Lucrecia: ENTJ
The old saying money is the root of all evil might not exactly be about Lucrecia, but it fits her as well as Cinderella's glass slipper fits her. Growing up rich, it is all Lucrecia knows and is basically one of the only things she cares enough about to hold on to. She feels naturally threatened by outsiders, and change makes her quite uncomfortable.
Lucrecia tries to convey an unsympathetic and almost emotionless nature. However, this, like many other things about her, is a deception since it is through these hidden emotions that her aggression takes shape. In Lucrecia's eyes, it's better to be cold than vulnerable.
Guzmán: ISFJ
Some people get so caught up with protecting the normalcy of their situation that they lose sight of the fact that sometimes change is beneficial. On the outside, it doesn't appear that there is much to Guzmán, but deep inside, he has a pretty convoluted personality. Still, sometimes his nicer side seems almost nonexistent, especially around his more jaded friends.
First and foremost, Guzmán is a protector. Change threatens him, and he will do anything to prevent it from sprouting in his social circle. While sometimes overly protective, he has proven to be a reliable friend. Guzmán might not be one of the most likable male characters in teen dramas, but he is a dependable friend who will stop at nothing to protect those he loves.
Ander: INFJ
Sometimes trying to be perfect causes cracks within a person's disposition. These cracks can sometimes break their entire foundation if not fixed. Ander has tried to be the perfect son by always excelling in anything he set his mind to. However, deep inside, his life is a constant struggle as he tries his hardest to hide his homosexuality from his family.
The stress placed on his already sensitive demeanor was the root cause of his drug addiction. If there is one thing that Ander cherishes, it is his close connection with his best friends.
Valerio: ESTP
Valerio isn't always what he tries to appear to be. On the outside, he seems like a troublemaker. In fact, that is partly why the girls love him so much. He is daring and willing to try new things and explore his sexuality whenever possible.
However, his drug addiction has sometimes clouded his judgment. These lapses in judgment are some of Valerio's deepest regrets, but instead of dwelling on them, he actively tries to improve his life. Sadly, that means cutting out some of the bad apples that bring out the worst in him.
Cayetana: ESFP
In this world, there are those comfortable in their own shoes and those who spend their lives pretending that a certain shoe fits. Cayetana is so caught up in trying to be like everyone else that she completely loses sight of how far down her lies have taken her. Because she is so fixated on the here and now, she can never see that she is going down a dead-end road.
The poor student who pretends to be rich is one of the most overdone tropes in teen dramas, but Cayetana is much more than just her lies. She is spontaneous and loves trying new things, qualities that make her popular and easy to like. Her impulsive nature causes her to act first and think later.
