What was the order of casting for Queer Eye? According to Delish.com, everyone was chosen to be part of the Fab Five before Antoni was. Danielle Gervais, who was the casting director, was interviewed by CNN and said, "then Antoni came in and all of a sudden it was the five of them. It was like putting together a magic puzzle."

Karamo Says He And Antoni Ignored Each Other At First

It seems like the Fab Five get along so well but that wasn't always the case. Karamo says that he and Antoni ignored each other in the first season.

Karamo said, "My castmate from Queer Eye, Antoni, people didn't know that we had an extreme amount of conflict. We did not talk to each other at all during season 1, even though we were shooting together." Karamo says a "third party" got involved and that's why they didn't like each other, but no one knows why they really argued so much.

The Fab Five Don't Choose The Heroes

Fans might wonder if the Fab Five look at possible cast for the show and choose them, but that's not the case at all. According to Insider.com, they don't pick them so it's "authentic." That definitely makes sense, as that would change how each episode felt.
