Netflix will produce a Noah Centineo will reprise their roles in the sequel, along with Anna Cathcart, John Corbett, and Janel Parrish.

Last August, Netflix released To All the Boys I've Loved Before, an American teen romance film based on Jenny Han’s 2014 novel. In the lead role, Condor stars as Lara Jean, a teenager whose love letters are mailed to their subjects. Centineo co-stars as one of Lara’s former crushes, Peter. Like Netflix 2018 breakout hit Set It Up starring Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell, To All the Boys I've Loved Before similarly offers a fresh spin on the romantic comedy genre. While critics responded positively, buzz from Netflix confirmed their involvement shortly before Christmas.

Per Doctor Sleep, a sequel to the horror classic The Shining. Due to a scheduling conflict, To All the Boys I've Loved Before’s original director, Johnson, was unable to helm the sequel. In a statement, Johnson said, "Directing To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their ionate of the film."

The main cast will return for To All the Boys I've Loved Before’s sequel. Condor and Centineo became breakout stars thanks to the original film, along with the 15-year-old Cathcart as Lara Jean’s younger sister, Kitty. In 2016, Condor portrayed Jubilation Lee in Centineo has been cast in the Charlie’s Angels reboot. In 2018, he starred in Netflix’s Sierra Burgess Is a Loser

In ing roles for To All the Boys I've Loved Before’s sequel, Corbett returns as Lara Jean’s father and Parrish will reprise her role as Lara Jean’s older sister. While many know Corbett as Iann Miller from the 2002 film My Big Fat Greek Wedding, he’s also starred in the TV series Northern Exposure and Sex and the City. In addition, Corbett starred alongside Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson in the Showtime series United States of Tara.

In April, Netflix will release Brie Larson’s directorial debut Russian Doll, the second installment of To All the Boys I've Loved will further cement the streaming service's comedic clout.
