New episodes of the Law & Order franchise, with 24 Emmy nominations and 6 wins over its 26 seasons and counting.

The first season of the show aired in September 1999 and there hasn't been a single year since without a new Law & Order: SVU episode. A police procedural drama, Law & Order: SVU, follows Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), the commanding officer of the titular Special Victims Unit in a version of the New York City Police Department. Her team handles NYC's most sensitive cases with a "villain-of-the-week" style of storytelling. Season 26 is the latest installment of the series and new episodes are still arriving as the season draws to an end.

Law & Order: SVU has been on the air since 1999, and it's showing no signs of stopping any time soon. While SVU season 27 has not been confirmed yet, the show certainly has not been canceled. There's no reason to believe that NBC will get rid of one of its top shows, and as far as anyone can tell, Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, and the other cast would be happy to return. Fans can rest assured that there will likely be new episodes of Law & Order: SVU still to come.
