Whenever a new Pokémon game comes out everyone knows the first thing to do is look for your favorite starter Pokémon. So here's how to find those adorable little Galar creatures.

The brand new and rather nostalgic this lovely remake.

Rightly so, really! These three are absolutely adorable and are also part of pretty funny photos for those quests and for your own collection.

Grookey

Grookey is one of the easier Pokémon to locate. It's actually one of the first Pokémon players will see in the game, along with adorable little Pichu. That being said, this chimp Pokémon can be located during the day at the Florio Nature Park.

To get a great photo of Grookey, get to research level 3 and lure it away from Pichu with a fluffruit, when it looks to see where it came from grab the picture! Alternatively, the player could wait until the Grookey isn't afraid and approaches the player when they get to research level 3 and enter the Florio Nature Park during the day, this method will get you 3 stars. Giving the Grookey a fluffruit at research level 2 might mean it jumps in the air and does a summersault, grab that kind of photo and you're in for 3-stars too. As for the 4-star photo, most players are still trying to figure that one out so there isn't a specific method just yet.

Scorbunny

This cute little rabbit Pokémon can be found in the Florio Nature Park but the time of day really depends on the players' research level. If the player is level 1 then they'll find Scorbunny at night, if they are level 3 then it'll be during the day! Scorbunny can also be found in the Sweltering Sands during the day, but many fans find it easier to get good quality photos in the Florio Nature Park. That being said, if players want a challenge then head to Sweltering Sands!

Luckily, Scorbunny is so energetic and excitable it becomes pretty hard to ignore! It is also seen in the company of Grookey and Pichu in the Nature Park so if the player is lucky they may get two Galarian starters in one go, or even two starters in the same photo.

If the player wants to get a 4-star photo, visit the Nature Park at night when you're level 2 and look out for the flower field. When the player approaches you should see Scorbunny running towards some Torterra. When it jumps onto the Torterra, pull out the camera and try to capture a picture of Scorbunny sleeping on Torterras back! Just be careful because the player will be very near the end portal so they only have a few seconds to get that shot. Just don't zoom in, as it needs to be a wider shot.

Sobble

Sobble split image. Jungle on the left, sobble on the right

It would be lovely if Sobble could be found in the Florio Nature Park like the other two starters, but unfortunately, life just isn't that easy. In fact, Sobble is a lot harder to capture than the likes of Grookey and Scorbunny.

Ultimately, Sobble is located in the day at the back of Founja Jungle, but only when the player has a research of level 2. That being said, if the player goes over to the waterfall basin and repeatedly uses thier scanner they may find a question mark symbol on the right. If they throw a fluffruit at the "???" then the cute little water lizard Pokémon will run out and the player can get a relatively decent photo! If the player doesn't really want to do that or if they head down to the jungle later on in the game when they get to research level 3, then they may find Sobble wandering around or swimming in the water basin, that's when the good photos can really happen.

If the player wants to get a 4-star shot of this little creature, head to the Jungle in the day at research level 3. Go to the main part of the path and make sure the Ancient ruins are below them. The player should see a Liepard laying down to go to sleep. The player should throw an Illumina orb and play a melody to stop this from happening. This will open up a hidden path behind the waterfall. Head in there, find the Sobble near the Leafeon, throw a fluffruit at it, and grab a photo.
