Despite the fact that the MMO has only been available for a short time, players are already discovering bugs and glitches in the game. Large titles such as this often face a wide array of issues immediately after launch, but some of them have been particularly problematic. One of the most notable, and downright game-breaking, is a New World invincibility exploit that gives s the ability to shrug off any damage. The glitch can be triggered simply by playing the game in windowed mode and holding down the mouse button.
The in-game economy for Amazon's new massively multiplayer online RPG is in such a bad way that many players have resorted to bartering to trade goods. Meanwhile, Amazon has once again delayed a much-requested feature for its new game, meaning that s will not be able to switch to a different server until next week as the studio does not want to cause disruption during a "peak player period." The company revealed that the ability to transfer servers in New World will come later than expected following successful tests despite the fact that players have been asking for the feature since its launch.
Deflation is a relatively rare problem for MMOs, which typically suffer more from inflation as far more currency is produced than can be spent. If the issue is not resolved quickly, it could trigger an exodus of players from New World as they become frustrated with the inability to earn and spend gold as originally intended. Amazon will have to work hard to come up with a solution fast in order to stop the economy from fracturing even more.
