During today's Nintendo Direct Mini presentation, Nintendo revealed a new indie-developed puzzler, Good Job!, which debuted immediately on the eShop. Much like other Nintendo-published indie titles available on Nintendo Switch, like Snipperclips: Cut it Out, Together! and The Stretchers, Good Job! is a partnership between Nintendo and an indie developer in an attempt to cultivate top-notch content for Switch players.

Over the years, Nintendo's dedication to indie games has been nearly unmatched, with the company first coining the term 'Nindies' for independent titles making their way to Nintendo platforms, including exclusives or timed exclusives, and more recently creating a series of presentations, called Indie World, to help further promote indie games. With the Shovel Knight from Yacht Club Games, utilizing Nintendo's existing audience creates a great opportunity for smaller titles hoping to stand out in those crowded digital storefronts.

Developed by Paladin Studios, the team behind mobile titles like My Tamagotchi Forever and Amazing Katamari Damacy, Good Job! is an office-based action-puzzle game that asks players to handle a variety of tasks from fixing the office's internet to cleaning up experimental goo leaks, and everything in between. The game appears to offer both single-player and co-op play and allows gamers to either try and tactfully solve office issues or just cause a ridiculous amount of damage. While it might not be a realistic replacement for workers stuck at home during the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, Good Job! will, at the very least, bring players plenty of smiles with its humor and over-the-top antics, something everyone is in need of during these trying times.
