Ori and the Blind Forest with even more to explore than ever before. Players control the spirit known as Ori and must try to save its friend by solving puzzles, fighting enemies, and collecting new abilities.
One of the collectibles in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, the Life Cell Fragments, serves a purpose very similar to that of heart pieces in The Legend of Zelda series. After obtaining two Life Cell Fragments, the player's maximum health will be increased for the rest of the game. To help players collect every single Life Cell Fragment, this guide will list the locations of all the fragments in each area!
Life Cell Fragment Locations In Ori And The Will Of The Wisps
Here's a list of each Life Cell Fragment in each area and where to find them:
Inkwater Marsh:
- If players head left instead of right from the starting location, players can find a rock that can be pushed or pulled. Pull this rock out to gain access to a Life Cell Fragment.
- Drop down to the left of the Combat Shrine that Opher directs the player to and break a rock floor with Spirit Smash to find a tunnel with a Life Cell Fragment.
- To the right of the Spirit Trial End and above the Spirit Well that is directly on top of a Combat Shrine, the player will a Life Cell Fragment in a dead-end on the right side.
- On the far right side of the area above the Spirit Well that is directly on top of a Combat Shrine, the player will need to wall jump over bramble to reach a Life Cell Fragment.
- The player will need to use the Launch ability to swing off of blue plants to find this Life Cell Fragment. The plants can be found to the right of the Spirit Well in front of where the player first meets Opher.
Kwolok's Hollow:
- There will be a stone crushing trap directly behind where the player first meets Twillen. If the player gets on top of the rock after the trap has been triggered, it will lift them into a room containing a Life Cell Fragment.
- Rather than heading left towards the area where the player first meets Kwolok, head down and to the left. Players will need the Bash ability to jump off projectiles being shot from two enemies spouting from the ground.
- The player can drop down through the floor next to the Spirit Trial Start to claim an easy Life Cell Fragment.
Wellspring Glades:
- Once the player has the Burrow ability, they can dive through the sand to the right of Opher and find a Life Cell Fragment.
- The player will need to use the Light Burst and Launch abilities to scale up the tree above Grom and find a Life Cell Fragment.
- Players will find a Life Cell Fragment in an alcove next to the Combat Shrine in front of the Wellspring. The players can use the Bash ability on enemies that spawn from the Combat Shrine to reach it.
The Wellspring:
- There is a Life Cell Fragment above the left-center door to the Wellspring. The player can drop down from above and dash onto the platform or use the Launch ability to leap up there.
- Inside the Wellspring, the player can find a lever in the top right that will drain the water below. The player will then need to head down until they find the water and swim to the left to find a Life Cell Fragment.
Windswept Wastes:
- The player will need the Burrow ability to reach this Life Cell Fragment. It can be found left of the entrance to the Windswept Wastes above a sand platform with a blue spike enemy resting on it.
- From the lever that is above Tokk on the map, the player will need to Burrow down, then right past the lasers, then down, and then left to find a Life Cell Fragment.
- There is a Life Cell Fragment accessible through the sand tunnels that are down and left from the Spirit Well Tokk stands next to.
Windtorn Ruins:
- The player will need to head as far left as possible from the Spirit Well until they reach a sand wall. Burrow through this wall to find a secret area. After fighting a corrupted Gorlek Miner, jump down and to the left to find a Life Cell fragment behind another hidden wall.
Luma Pools:
- To the right of the black perfect circle on the map and a breakable wall is a dead-end tunnel that the player can swim through to find a Life Cell Fragment at the end.
- Between the Spirit Trial Start and the Spirit Well is a room with bubbles rising to the top. Players will need to jump off of the bubbles to reach a top section where a Life Cell Fragment lies.
- The player will need to lead an underwater projectile found in the room above the Spirit Well and Moki across the opening to a breakable wall on the right side. The Life Cell Fragment is behind the breakable wall.
Baur's Reach:
- To the right of the Moki and across the opening, the player will find a wall of sand they can use the Burrow ability on. Burrowing through it will lead to a hidden room with a Life Cell Fragment inside.
Mouldwood Depths:
- The player can use a fairy to light up an area below the Spirit Shrine that will reveal a Life Cell Fragment that the player can reach by wall jumping and dashing.
- The player can use the Launch ability to reach a Life Cell Fragment resting above the Spirit Trial Start.
Willow's End:
- Left of the door to Willow's End is a Creep Heart. Directly above it is a portal that will lead straight to a Life Cell Fragment.
