Ori and the Blind Forest released in 2015, brings the stories' protagonist, Ori the spirit, to a new land with the mission of finding their friend and saving the people met along the way. Players of Ori and the Will of the Wisps will stumble across the Moki in this new land, a species of small ferret-like creatures that are in danger of losing their home to the corruption absorbing the lands.
In Ori and the Will of the Wisps, players can collect a resource called Gorlek Ore that can be used by a clever craftsman to repair structures. Gorlek Ore can be found all over the world of Ori and the Will of the Wisps, but players will not know how to use it early on into the game. This guide will show players how to find the craftsman that can use the Gorlek Ore to repair structures for the Moki in Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
Where to Spend Gorlek Ore In Ori And The Will Of The Wisps
For players to be able to spend their Gorlek Ore, they will first need to make their way to the Wellspring Glades. The Wellspring Glades hosts a village of Moki and the craftsman that the player will speak to in order to spend their Gorlek Ore: Grom. Grom is a Gorlek builder that can be found near the Spirit Well and will ask the player to give him Gorlek ore to repair structures around the Wellspring Glades.
Different tasks will require different amounts of Gorlek Ore, and certain tasks will be locked until completing other tasks or speaking to the correct Moki. These repairs will give players more access to sidequests, open up other collectibles, and overall make the Mokis lives easier in the Glades. Here is a list of the upgrades and how much Gorlek Ore they cost:
- Repair the Spirit Well: Wellspring Glades Spirit Well becomes functional - 1 Gorlek Ore
- Dwelling Repairs: Fixes the dwellings of the Mokis in the Wellspring Glades - 4 Gorlek Ore
- Thorny Situation: Clears the spikes and grants access to a lower section of the Wellspring Glades - 5 Gorlek Ore
- Roofs Over Heads: Adds more housing on the big tree for the Moki - 6 Gorlek Ore
- Clear the Cave Entrance: Clears the old cave entrance of debris so the player can enter - 6 Gorlek Ore
- Onwards and Upwards: Adds more treehouses for the Moki in the Glades - 8 Gorlek Ore
- The Gorlek Touch: Adds finishing touches of decoration to the Glades - 10 Gorlek Ore
Once the player has completed all of the upgrades to the Wellspring Glades, they will complete the Rebuilding the Glades side quest and be rewarded with 1000 Light.
