Many new Pals have been added in the Feybreak update for Palworld, including Faleris Aqua, a massive Water-type bird you can find and catch on the new island map. This creature has a useful Partner Skill along with some great Work Suitabilities. In addition, catching this creature will give you one of the game's few flying mounts, allowing you to reach new locations in the update.
Faleris Aqua is a rare Pal that can spawn as a Predator variant, dropping a rare resource called a Predator Core when you defeat it. However, you need to enable Predator Pals in your settings to ensure this type of creature will appear on your map. Predator Cores in Palworld are used to craft valuable items, such as larger item pouches, so you'll want to collect many.

Faleris Aqua Location In Palworld
Search Along The Northern Biomes
The Scorched Ashland area of Feybreak Island has the highest population of Faleris Aqua Pals you can find. These birds tend to fly along the shores at the top of your map and sometimes in the ruins of places like Snow Island. Faleris Aqua spawns during the day and night, so you don't have to worry about waiting until the right time to discover one as you explore.
Some Faleris Aqua will spawn along the coast west of the Scorched Ashland, so try checking this area out too if you can't find any to the north.
Since Faleris Aqua is a flying Pal, you should be able to spot one easily gliding above the ocean. You may even notice this Pal as you travel to Feybreak Island in Palworld for the first time, as the turrets on the new map make this expansion easier to approach over the water.

The 10 Best New Pal Designs In The Palworld: Feybreak Update
The Feybreak update for Palworld has introduced 24 new Pals to collect in the survival/monster collection game, but which are the very best?
Another location where you can find Faleris Aqua is northeast of the Emberstone Plateau Teleportation Point. This specific Faleris Aqua is a Field Alpha Boss seen in the collection of small islands just off the coast of Feybreak island. Some details about this Alpha Boss can be read in the table below:
Alpha Pal |
Level |
Type |
Coordinates |
---|---|---|---|
Faleris Aqua |
56 |
Water |
(-627, -1048) |
The Alpha Pal from this location will drop more materials than a normal Pal of the same type would give. For example, beating a normal Faleris Aqua will reward you with Pal Fluid. However, beating the Alpha Boss variant of this creature will give you many other items, including Precious Plumes, Ancient Civilization Parts, and maybe even a rare Ring of Water Resistance.
How To Catch Faleris Aqua
Learn Type Matchups Or Follow Breeding Formulas
Faleris Aqua is a Water-type Pal, meaning it is weak to Electric-type attacks from Pals of your own. Bringing a Pal between Levels 45-60 of the Electric-type should help you greatly to damage any Faleris Aqua you encounter enough to increase its capture chances. Having gear that is resistant to Water-type attacks will also help keep your character alive during a fight against Faleris Aqua in an attempt to catch one.
Fighting a Faleris Aqua can be difficult, as the large bird will summon streams of water under your character and dive forward to strike you and your primary Pal. Additionally, Faleris Aqua will summon twisters of water to damage you, creating large AoE attacks you have to avoid. Simply dodge away from the Pal when it is focused on you and keep doing damage until you have the best chance to use a Pal Sphere on it.

Palworld: Best Tips To Survive In Hardcore Mode
It's not as easy as it looks to survive hardcore mode in Palworld, and players need to put a lot of effort into staying alive every day.
Another way to "catch" a Faleris Aqua for yourself is to breed one from existing Pals on your roster. By breeding a Jormuntide with a Faleris, you can create a Faleris Aqua from a Huge Damp Egg the two creatures produce. Two Faleris Aquas together will breed another one of themselves as well, but incubating an Egg from the Pals you already have is a far easier solution.
Once you capture a Faleris Aqua, you can immediately start using the Pal's main partner skill - Tidal Predator. This ability allows Faleris Aqua to be ridden as a flying mount in Palworld and causes Fire-type Pals to drop more items when defeated.
Getting a Faleris Aqua is only the first step, as you need certain materials to start using one as a flying mount. You have to craft a unique Saddle for a Faleris Aqua before it can be ridden as a mount, similar to many other Pals who can your character while soaring through the skies. To craft a Faleris Aqua Saddle, you need:
- 30x Leather
- 30x
Pal Fluids
- 75x Paldium Fragments
- 20x High Quality Cloth
- 5x Plasteel
Flying around on the back of a Faleris Aqua will help you explore the rest of Feybreak Island, as long as you avoid the defensive anti-air turrets on the landmass. Those who find and catch a Faleris Aqua in Palworld's Feybreak update can use the new Pal to track down these hostile devices and destroy them to free up travel in the expansion's vast map.
