Xenolord is a tough Raid Boss in Palworld, introduced with the Feybreak update. This Dragon/Dark-type character is one of the most difficult challenges in the game. It has over 1.3 million HP in its basic form and almost double that in its Ultra form, so players need to plan carefully and deal damage effectively to beat Xenolord. It also has a range of powerful attacks, including strong laser beams, area attacks that cause falling meteors, and hard-hitting melee strikes. Staying mobile and knowing how to dodge is essential, making flying Pals particularly useful.

The battle has a time limit, adding pressure to defeat Xenolord quickly. Choosing the right team is important; Pals that can resist Dark and Dragon-type attacks, like Astegon and Frostallion, are recommended, and using Pals like Gobfin can boost damage output. Having high-level Palworld gear is crucial, and the Hexolite Armor set works well against Xenolord's strong attacks. The fight is intense and one of the biggest new features added in the Feybreak update.

Xenolord's Location In Palworld

How To Summon Xenolord

Xenolord doesn't naturally appear in Palworld like other Pals. Instead, it's a Raid Boss that you can summon through a specific process. First, you need to reach Technology Level 33 to get the blueprint for the Summoning Altar. You can build this altar anywhere in your base, but placing it away from your main structures is best to avoid any damage during the battle.

Palworld's big update is adding some difficulty options that aren't for the faint of heart, but it hasn't d them much so far.

To summon Xenolord in Palworld, you need a special item called the Xenolord Slab, which you make using four Xenolord Slab Fragments. You can find these Fragments by sending your Pals on expeditions to dungeons on Feybreak Island. However, getting the Fragments isn't guaranteed, so it might take some time. Once you have the slab, you can use it at your Summoning Altar to start the raid against Xenolord, and possibly the tougher Ultra Xenolord. The fight will happen directly around your altar, so where you place it in your base will impact your strategy.

How To Defeat Xenolord

How To Beat Xenolord in Palworld

To defeat Xenolord in Palworld, you need a solid plan and great preparation. Make sure your character is at least Level 60 and has strong stats and equipment. Wear the Hexolite Armor and Helmet to protect yourself from Xenolord’s powerful attacks. For weapons, the Rocket Launcher is great for dealing serious damage, which is especially helpful against Xenolord and its minions, the Xenogards and Xenovaders.

You should also carry a Laser Gatling Gun for continuous fire to chip away at health, and consider using a Poison Arrow Crossbow, as the poison damage works well against Xenolord’s high health. Mobility is important too, so use the Double Air Dash and Triple Jump Boots to dodge attacks effectively.

Meowmere was added into Palworld from Terraria and is a great weapon to use in this fight.

When it comes to team composition, having a Frostallion as your main Pal is a smart choice because its ice attacks are very effective, and it can fly to dodge ground attacks. Adding a few Gobfins to your party is also beneficial; they can work together to boost damage with their ice-type attacks. For your base, include Pals like Astegon (to defend against dark attacks), Jetdragon, and Quivern for better type advantages.

Before you summon Xenolord, make sure all your Pals are full health and you have enough ammo. One useful tactic is to build a Palbox in an open area, summon Xenolord, and then retreat far away. Xenolord will focus on the Palbox with its Cosmic Meteor attack, allowing you to hit it from a safe distance. However, this strategy works best if you have a strong ranged setup to maximize damage within 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can build a well-defended base and rely on your base Pals and team to bring down Xenolord’s large health pool.

How To Breed Xenolord

Can You Breed Xenolord?

You can't breed a Xenolord in Palworld like you can with other creatures. Unlike typical Pals, you won't find a Xenolord by combining two Pals at a breeding farm. Instead, Xenolord is a Raid Boss that can only be obtained by defeating it in a special raid. When you defeat Xenolord, you might get a Huge Dark Egg as a reward. If you incubate that egg, there's a chance it will hatch into a Level One Xenolord.

To improve your odds of getting a Huge Dark Egg, focus on making a strong team, using strategies that take advantage of the AI targeting bug, and making sure your characters are well-leveled and equipped before the battle in Palworld Feybreak. Keep in mind that the Ultra Xenolord can also drop a Huge Dark Egg, but it will be tougher to defeat. After the battle, look around the area for the egg—it's a great reward for your efforts.
