Palworld has surprised everyone by releasing several festive holiday skins for popular Pals. The base-building, creature-capturing survival title only launched in January of this year, and it's already launched several expansions, including one earlier this week. The game has over 150 different Pals, creatures that can be fought and tamed, and some of them now have Christmas variants.

The Christmas skins were added as part of the Palworld: Feybreak expansion and can be accessed right now from within the game on all the consoles where the game is available (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5). The outfits and recolors can be seen in a short trailer on the Pocketpair YouTube channel, which shows Pals and their trainers all dressed up and surrounded by festive decorations like Christmas trees and wrapped presents.

Palworld Gives All Players Free Christmas Skin

There Are Six Festive Skins In Total

This holiday season, Palworld has gifted players with six new Christmas and holiday-themed skins for several popular Pals. This is the first Christmas that Palworld has been out, since the game was released on January 19, 2024, so developers Pocketpair are celebrating in style. The six holiday skins added to Palworld in this update are as follows:

  • Pudding à la Gumoss
  • Party Night Depresso
  • Winter Style Chillet
  • Winter Style Chillet Ignis
  • Royal Frostallion
  • White Shadowbeak

Palworld's big update is adding some difficulty options that aren't for the faint of heart, but it hasn't d them much so far.

Players don't need to do anything special to unlock the skins, which are available to everyone, no matter how long they've been playing. To equip the holiday outfits, players will need to capture the Pal for the corresponding outfit and build the Pal Dressing Facility at a base. Once both these requirements are met, players will be able to dress their Depressos, Chillets, and the four other Pals in their respective Christmas outfits.

Palworld: Feybreak's Christmas Skins Are A Nice Surprise

The Expansion Is Already A Huge One Even Without Gifts

Palworld implements an optional hard mode for players who are looking for a challenge.

Palworld: Feybreak launched on December 23 and brought all these new mechanics and items to the title in one fell swoop. The inclusion of Christmas outfits was a nice surprise for fans, especially since all players get the new skins as soon as they build the corresponding building in their base.

This is just the beginning for Palworld, which is growing in popularity and content despite facing legal troubles from Nintendo and Pokémon. Giving out fun freebies like Christmas skins is an example of the positive interactions Pocketpair has with its player base, showing one of the reasons why many players love the company and game so much.
