Summary

  • Palworld is an Early Access game with glitches and bugs, but most of them are not game-breaking, and some even feel like awesome features.
  • Glitches in Palworld range from physics-breaking tricks to useful exploits like refreshing food to prevent rotting.
  • The Pal Sphere glitch can be used to launch characters in the air for faster travel or to kill bosses, and campfires can be used to damage high-level Pals easily.

Even though Palworld is an expansive, fun game, it's still in Early Access, and as with any EA game, it comes with its own glitches and bugs. Luckily, most of the bugs in the game aren't too game-breaking, with some, like the Pal Sphere glitch, feeling more like an awesome feature rather than something that needs to be patched. That said, the developers of the game, Pocketpair, are hard at work patching and updating both the Xbox and PC versions of the games, and some of these glitches may not even exist within a few days.

Glitches in Palworld range from insane physics-breaking tricks to seemingly innocuous things that can provide unlimited experience, like overlapping walls when building (which has been fixed in the latest patch). With a ton to do in the game and such an expansive amount of content to explore, it's no wonder that there are some seriously fun and interesting Palworld glitches that people should try before they're no longer in the game. These glitches should all still be available and usable in Palworld 0.1.3.0.

Palworld wears its many inspirations on both sleeves, but this monster-catching open-world survival sim could have some serious legs.

7 The Pal Sphere Launcher

Hop On Top Of A Pal Sphere

One of the most widely-known glitches in Palworld is the Pal Sphere launcher. To pull off the maneuver, one must climb on top of a completing Pal Sphere before the Pal is caught. Upon completion, the character will be launched high up into the air and then can use a parachute or glider to traverse far distances or get on top of high cliffs or mountains.

Build a Parachute at base level 5 to prevent fall damage.

Similar to Skyview Towers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, this glitch feels more like a feature than an actual glitch to the people who use it regularly. As one of the most widely-known and used glitches in the game, it hopefully makes it through a few more Palworld patches.

6 Food Refresh Glitch

Stop Food From Rotting Away

One mechanic that's persisted in Palworld is the food refresh glitch. This enables people to transfer food using the right-click to refresh the food timer and keep it fresh for a longer period of time. In Palworld, food like meat slowly rots over time and will eventually be removed unless it's stored in a Cooler Box or other cooling storage container.

5 Kill Bosses Easily Using Pal Spheres

The Pal Sphere Launch Glitch Used In Another Way

In addition to launching characters high up into the air to travel faster, the Palworld Pal Sphere glitch can also be used to kill bosses in the game. While it is necessary for the boss to be one that jumps up in the air, timing a jumping attack right at the moment of catching a Pal will result in the same physics being applied to the boss. This glitch also, obviously, requires the existence of other Pals in the fight, or else there won't be anyone to use the Pal Sphere on. Successfully pulling off this timing will launch them up in the air, where they will die upon landing from fall damage.

An easy boss to pull this off on is Kingpaca, as it has a move where it jumps up in the air along with lower-level mobs that follow it around.

4 Use A Campfire To Kill High-Level Pals

Campfires Cause Damage Over Time

More of a gameplay mechanic and probably less of a glitch is the ability to build campfires under pals to cause damage to them. Unless one attacks the Pal, they shouldn't aggro, creating an easy opening to take down a higher-level enemy easily without having to engage it directly. The hardest thing that one will have to do is get the Pal to actually stand still, which can be accomplished by backing it into a corner or surrounding it. Sadly, it doesn't work when the Pal is sleeping.

3 Attack The Black Marketeer For Unlimited Gold

A Dialogue Glitch

When one sets their Pals in Palworld to Attack Aggressively, they will attack once they are unleashed from their Pal Spheres. Doing so immediately before entering into the dialogue with the Black Marketeer vendor and then attacking him continuously makes it possible to kill him outright without any resistance. Like the other glitches, this requires pretty precise timing, and doing it wrong could just have the Black Marketeer kill the character. This will net the person with 40,000 gold, which can be repeated for an infinite gold supply.

2 Capture Grizzbolt Easily

An Easy High-Level Pal Capture

Though the Grizzbolt glitch used to provide an endless amount of XP to characters, this has since been patched out, but capturing the Grizzbolt is still possible via a somewhat complex process. To do so, one must attack a human NPC to gain Wanted, then travel to the Rayne Syndicate Tower and enter the boss fight against Zoe & Grizzbolt. Get the Guard to attack Grizzbolt, and then they'll walk over into a wall where they will glitch out for a few seconds and then can be captured. This is a great way to earn a high-level Pal pretty early in the game without much effort.

For this glitch to work, it's important not to hit Grizzbolt at all, or else he will aggro the character.

1 Duplication Glitch Provides Unlimited Resources

Hard To Pull Off But Rewarding

Trying to pull off the duplication glitch in Palworld.

Though it is harder to do, there is still a dupe glitch in Palworld that essentially enables people to have unlimited resources. To do it, empty the character inventory completely, then crouch on the very edge of the base territory. From here, it's required to inch away and then build a building inside of the territory, trickling the game into thinking it's pulling resources from the base. This must be done with precise timing — and is hard to do. Once the structure is placed, cancel it to reclaim the resources. While tricky to perform, once one masters the technique, it can unlock unlimited materials.

The dupe glitch is likely one that Pocketpair will continue to try to fix and may be patched soon, as it's currently pretty difficult to actually execute compared to when the game launched.

Even though glitches exist in Palworld, it doesn't make it a bad game. After all, it's still in Eary Access, and the developers have already patched a host of bugs since the game was originally launched. Although some of these glitches are cheap, and you may not want to master or use them, others, like the Pal Sphere glitch, are fun and don't ruin the experience too much.
