Many new items have been added to Palworld for the Sakurajima update, including the Ring of Freight, which increases your overall carrying capacity. This item can help your character hold onto more things in their inventory as you collect important materials for various projects. Being able to hold onto more items than normal can those with ambitious goals hindered by constant traveling back and forth for resources.

One of the biggest changes in the Sakurajima update is the introduction of Dog Coins, a new currency used to buy items added to the game. Medal Merchant vendors seen in the update will only accept Dog Coins instead of the normal Gold you've farmed from Pals around the main map. You can get Dog Coins from treasure chests in Sakurajima or by defeating Syndicate Thug .

The new Pal Mimog can be an excellent way to farm Dog Coins since the new Pal introduced in the update has the highest chance to drop the currency when defeated.

Where To Find The Ring Of Freight

Track Down Any Medal Merchant In Sakurajima

Palworld player character talking to a new Medal Merchant NPC from the Sakurajima update

You can easily purchase a Ring of Freight +1 by interacting with any Medal Merchant on the new Sakurajima map. These NPCs show up randomly in the world, but they tend to appear close to a Church or Ruins that you might come across while exploring. Unlike the Ring of Mercy in Palworld, you won't be able to craft this Accessory simply by combining materials found along your travels.

The Ring of Freight costs 50 Dog Coins, making it fairly expensive compared to a Medal Merchant's other wares. An easier way to farm enough Coins is to defeat the Menasting Pal that resides in the northern sections of Sakurajima island. These creatures are quite powerful though, so you'll need strong Pals on your side to take down enough of them to gain the Coins you need.

The version of Menasting you can find is Level 54, making it quite hard to defeat. Anyone who does manage to take this creature down will receive a Ring of Freight +2, a slightly stronger version of the base item.

How To Use The Ring Of Freight

Equip The Item For Increased Carrying Capacity

Palworld Ring of Freight +1 item that increases a character's Carrying Capacity

Putting on the Ring of Freight increases your Carrying Capacity by 100, giving you more space for items in your inventory without becoming encumbered. This overrides the need to always bring a Pal into the world that boosts your Carrying Capacity, allowing you to bring other creatures more suitable for your needs. For example, if you want to farm materials in a dangerous area, now you can bring a Pal suited for combat.

This Ring only has a Weight of 2, making it an item that won't hinder you much alongside the other tools you have to bring around the world. This item can be combined with other buffs to Carrying Capacity, allowing you to far sur normal limits for the number of things you can hold at once. Those who get and use the Ring of Freight in Palworld can by the usual grind it takes to gather many resources for projects.
