Throughout Palworld’s Palpagos Islands, Fruit Trees randomly disperse Skill Fruits that can be obtained by players to teach various skills to their Pals and Humans. The Skill Fruits are particularly useful because they aren’t locked by type. Water Pals, for example, can learn Fire moves, and given that a player can only bring along five Pals on their journey out of more than 100 possible companions, being able to teach a variety of Active Skills to Pals at any given time is a great assist in combat.
Skill Fruits aren’t as scarce as they might appear to first-time Palworld players. Through a method involving the use of Pals with certain traits and the careful placement of bases on a new part of the Palpagos, players can unlock a continuous supply of Skill Fruits. This trick not only guarantees an essentially infinite supply of Skill Fruits but also makes sure the player will have access to higher level Active Skills to give them a definitive edge in combat.
A Specific Pal Skill (And A Certain Pal) Will Maximize Skill Fruit Retrieval
Work Suitability Is Key
Every Pal in Palworld has traits that fall under the Work Suitability category that determine their aptitude for certain tasks on a scale from one to four. When it comes to securing an infinite supply of Skill Fruits, players should use Pals with a high gathering suitability, as these Pals can harvest crops like the Skill Fruits most effectively. While there are multiple Pals with a gathering suitability of three that can be employed to harvest the Skill Fruits, only one Pal, Frostallion Noct, has a gathering level of four.
With no other Work Suitabilities, Frostallion Noct can solely focus on maximizing Skill Fruit collection, as opposed to the level-three gathering Pals. Frostallion Noct doesn’t spawn in the wilds, so getting Frostallion Noct in Palworld requires breeding a Helzephyr and a Frostallion if players are to reap the Skill Fruit gathering benefits of this useful Pal.
How To Build The Best Bases To Collect Skill Fruits
Material Choice & Base Efficiency Are Key
Players in Palworld can begin base construction once they’ve unlocked the Palbox from the game’s technology tree at Player Level 2, with the ability to construct two additional Palboxes at Base Levels 10 and 15, respectively. When building their first base, players should be on the lookout for flat terrain as close as possible to Fruit Trees, which will prevent Pals from getting stuck or glitching between natural obstacles.
While at the start of the game, players will only have access to wood, this should not remain their main structural material. Wooden bases that catch on fire (especially because of fire attacks from enemies) will burn down without the assistance of Water Pals, making the material inadequate for long-term in-game success. Once players get access to Metal and Stone, they should switch over to these resources to improve overall base durability.
Once the base is constructed, players will have to ensure their Pals keep it productive. One of the best ways to ensure this is by keeping SAN levels high. SAN, the game’s mechanic to inform players about their Pals’ status, will deplete faster if players set Pals to work harder via the monitor stand. The best way to counteract this is by providing Pals with enough rest and feeding them with high-quality foods crafted from the cooking pot. Employing these measures will help players ensure that their Pals stay productive and happy.
Base efficiency will further increase when players employ Pals that specialize in one Work Suitability (such as Frostallion Noct with gathering) as opposed to Pals that have points in multiple suitabilities, as these specialist Pals can work much faster than their non-specialist counterparts. A new player’s best bet for building the most efficient Palworld base will in large part rely on switching out base Pals for new ones with higher suitabilities until their base is inhabited mainly by specialist Pals. Not only does this strategy help with collecting Skill Fruit, it will also ensure players have a smoother game experience overall.
A Specific Location Will Provide the Best Skill Fruits
Sakurajima Island Will Provide Unlimited Epic-Class Skill Fruits
The newest location in the Palpagos, the lush, fantastical Japanese-inspired island of Sakurajima, will help players take full advantage of the infinite Skill Fruit trick. The fruit trees found in Sakurajima provide some of the strongest new Skill Fruits in all of Palworld, with both the recent Dark Skill Fruits that arrived with the latest update and other Rare- and Epic-class Skill Fruits available for constant collection. Players that construct bases near Fruit Trees on Sakurajima can expect to collect powerful Skill Fruits such as the Dragon Meteor and Implode (the most powerful Skill Fruit in the game) on a regular basis.

The Skill Fruits found in Palworld offer a unique and effective way to mix and match Active Skills for various Pals in battle. While the different fruits seem at first to be relative rarities, an effective combination of picking Pals with high gathering suitability and placing bases on Sakurajima will ensure that players will both have almost infinite access to Skill Fruits and quality ones to choose from.
