Prince Mush from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is one of the secret bosses that can be accessed on the Nintendo Switch. Originally, players had never been able to fight him until now with the newest remake. Stemming from Chapter 3, this champion challenges you to a rumble after completing the game. However, be warned, this fight will not be easy. Preparing to face him head-on will require the right level, badges, and items.

As the first champion of the Glitz Pit in Paper Mario: TTYD, Prince Mush puts up a fight. It is important to note that his HP maxes out at 96 with an Attack and Defense stat of 6. He can deal significant damage with his drop-kick combo and create illusions of himself throughout the fight. Thankfully, he can be challenged multiple times in attempts to defeat him.

There are many ways to beat Prince Mush in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door; however, two strategies and badges, particularly, are the most successful. The first method is to look at a Jumpman and Power Bounce badge strategy. This limits them to only jump attacks, but with multiple hits, they should deal significant damage. If you find this strategy repetitive and not to your liking, try out the Power Rush badge.

This is a very risky strategy but has a huge payoff in the end. By getting Mario to critical HP levels, his damage will be significantly increased. Superguard through the finishing stages and know that your best defense is your best offense.
