Patrick J. Adams might not be returning to the Suits universe via when Suits: L.A. premieres, it will have been a little over five years since Adams played Mike.
Suits: L.A. will premiere on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. The spinoff's pilot was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, but the cast and crew are filming the rest of the series in Los Angeles, California.
After Suits experienced a resurgence on Netflix in 2023 (according to Variety, Suits was the most streamed show of 2023 despite its finale airing four years beforehand), NBC ordered a spinoff — Suits: L.A. Aaron Korsh, the first series' creator, returns as the showrunner, while Stephen Amell leads the cast as Ted Black. Many rumors concerning the return of the original Suits actors, including Adams, have been swirling since the spinoff's announcement. However, Adams isn't reprising his role as Mike anytime soon. That might change in the future, but as of the writing of this article, Adams is busy working on another show.

However, Adams' most exciting post-Suits project is undoubtedly The Madison.

Adams is set to star as Russell McIntosh in The Madison. According to his character description (via TV Insider), Russell is a "young investment banker who has followed the life path set before him from the start." More details about the spinoff have been sparse, but the series reportedly follows Michelle Pfeiffer's Stacy Clyburn (Russell's mother-in-law) and her family. Their entire world gets turned upside down when they leave their life of luxury in New York and move to the Madison River Valley in Montana after a tragedy. Ultimately, Adams is taking on a role quite different from Mike in Suits, and that's quite intriguing.
