Set in a fictional community called Adventure Bay, PAW Patrol follows a boy named Ryder who leads a team of skilled search-and-rescue dogs in an ongoing quest to protect the community. Each dog's area of expertise corresponds with a different emergency services or civil services occupation, from firefighter to police officer to construction worker and more. The dogs use backpacks full of tools and customized "pupmobiles" to travel to and from each mission, after which Ryder always says, "Whenever you're in trouble, just yelp for help!" PAW Patrol has been praised for its depiction of the value of problem-solving for its young viewers.
